Dubious C64 Ms Pacman "prototype" cart (UK)

Frankly, this really is just a standard cart with the casing ripped off it, isn't it? Akin to the recent Nintendo Gamecube with a sticker on it saying "Dev kit" and my personal favourite, an Xbox retail case with extra holes drilled in it with the SAME stickers on it saying.... "Dev kit". Clearly, the imagination of these scammers is VAST!

    Avoid!

Rare? Playstation 1 promotional material x 2 (UK)

If you like Spyro and Crash bandicoot then you can obtain 2 "rare" PS1 promotional sets. Currently listed at £39.00 each BIN <Best Offer available> and £6.00 P&P per item. My issue is that not only is £39 a fair amount of cash for such an item, I question the rarety of them as this guy has sold the very same items before as I saw the "Best Offer" listed as accepted last week on one of these items, unless it has been turned over.

While this should have been posted at least under "rare and obscure", nevertheless the Top 10 list made for a good read.

    At No. 2 it says:
"According to d4s, each ROM chip was loaded separately into the snes when it was accessed, and the score data kept on the ram."

So d4s got to have a close look at one of them or even owns one. Hopefully he'll post about it.

The price on the auction is pretty insane even considering that you get a copy of Nintendo World Championships '90 with it.

Dodonpachi Campaign Version. Only one confirmed out of Cave's hands (and the other two firmly in their grasp). The difference between that and this? It would probably get a bid at $50k.

the difference is console gamers dont know and seemingly dont give a shit about arcade PCBs.

a trend thats been changing over the last two years tho as more and more discover the medium and its extensive range of exclusive quality titles (tho still not enough to find their way into mainstream articles).. with the recent boom in Cave prices i wouldnt be surprised at all if DDP campaign version fetched well into the 5 figures *if* it should ever be up for sale.

I think Mushihimesama Blue label (no known private owners) would fetch in the $10K range aswell..

I'm very interested to see how the Mac II C ends up selling. I've had so many questions about the item, but all of them are from Italy, Brazil, CROATIA  . It costs craploads of money to send from Australia to anywhere else [the damn thing weighs 14kg], so who knows how well it'll end up selling. It has the most watches I've had before too.
