The faq for the competition clearly makes it sound like it will be able to play any N64 game in any N64. So it can't be impossible.

That osTVType variable is set by the pif boot rom so that games can use the proper timing when setting the video regs. Some devs also used it as a region check variable, but that's NOT what it's there for. If you change that variable to pass for your region, you may still run into trouble later in the game when the video is setup.

That's the main problem when hacking a rom to run in a different region - not the region checks, but the video initialization. Unless a game was made to be multi-regional, just patching the region check won't allow it to run properly. You'll also need to patch the values used to setup the video... unless you have a TV/monitor that can handle the output video as-is.

sanni Chilly Willy's boot emulator allow to pass region checks without rom patching, so i can run any PAL rom ROM on my NTSC system. probably same situation on PAL system, i will check later
i mean that i can implement any possible things, and can't implement impossible thing and no sense to talk about it. maybe i can't implement some hardware features if they limited by physical design, but any known software feature like some patches not a problem

With help from some of the others who work on the NeoMyth stuff... namely conle and mic. The three of use did most of the work on the menus for the N64, MD, SNES, and SMS, with mic being "lead" on the SNES and SMS, and myself being lead on the MD and N64. Conle throws in utilities for the PC, plugins for the PC client, and things like cheat and config support on the menus, among other things.

No group buys for awhile for this product. If there is one you probably won't see as large of a discount as in the past.

i only can say that group purchase will not be available in first moth or two because ed64 carts will be made in pretty limit quantity. currently i have parts only for few tens of carts. so may be bit later. also i not think that group price for ed64 will be much more low than retail price because self cost is huge and my % of profit already pretty small
