EverDrive 64

Hello! I've been lurking about on this thread for a while now. It seems Everdrive64 will be released soon. I have a couple questions. Am I to understand that we will be able to store roms on the sd on the cart and be able to select what game to play when booting the n64 up? In other words, I know that they myth cart you have to load what rom you want to play first using your pc, then put it in your n64. But with the Everdrive I can simply keep my roms on the sd card and select the game on boot up?

Also, I've navigated the site and can't quite seem to find where to actually order everdrives. A little help? Thanks. This seems like it will be a wonderful item!

 

Correct. No special software needed, just drop into SD card and put SD card into ED64 and put ED64 in your N64. Select game from menu and go.

Thats because they aren't for sale yet. You can order directly from creator at his RetroGate.com, we also sell them at StoneAgeGamer.com. We will be selling both the board only and the Deluxe version which is a complete product ready out of the box with case, shell, labels, SD card, etc.

There are also a few other retailers that sell the boards as well. They will be listed on Krikzz.com once they are available at that retailer.

Also, will we be notified of the day/time it will be released? I want to make sure I snag one. If I miss out, I think I might cry.

 

I'd check a couple times a day, KRIKzz seems to be doing a fairly small run to start

Sorry I wasn't trying to be pushy. I was just used to so many people posting on the thread and then it stopped. I thought maybe I missed something.

 

Wait a bit more, N64 I think will even after release be in dev. stage (new fuctions, compatibility)

Personally I'll wait even bit more till people test NES emulator. This piece of software is really important for me.
