There is already a firmware update video for the Everdrive-MD here:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xCOCk4UIaE Originally posted by '8413':- http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=453205&postcount=22 I imagine Everdrive 64 firmware update process will be very similar.
No. It'd require too much extra hardware. There may be ways to hack the DD ROMs to play on stock hardware, I guess.
That would be nice but it would be a heavily modification on the roms. Do you think somebody here have the knowledge for that ?
To be honest, I don't know but it would be nice to find out if those games suck or not in the real hardware ) There's a whole thread here about the 64DD with people giving their opinions, some of them are really into the system. That thread made me wounder the question I posted.
I wouldn't get your hopes up on 64dd games ever running on a cart. I'd be happy just to see them finally emulated in the main emus
It would be too diffcult I would imagine to get them to work on a cart even hacked (Hell look at the virtual console, not a single 64dd game on there, not even sim city 64!).
i hate to ask and hopefully i don't come off rude but how many days till you start selling the boards on retrogate.com ?
According to KRIKzz's twitter, ED64s are available now from shop.retrogate.com EDIT: made link clickable
Congratulations Krikzz! Nice job you have done!! When you add Flashram support I will buy at least 2 Everdrive 64's!
