what is the point of USB port, does it allow flashing or just allows mass storage access to the sd card?
only for rom loading. as always useful only for developers. most of my carts have usb port decause i need usb for OS debug

I think there is a small error in your webshop krikzz, you can't add the everdrive64 to the cart without selecting a cic chip. A no-cic option is missing. ^^ Also is the no shipping to Germany policy still valid?
it is not error, just boards without cic already sold yes, unfortunatelly retrogate still not ship no Germany, but probably soon we will be have German distributor

But then you are paying $15 for a useless PAL CIC. I'm guessing there wasn't a whole lot of stock compared to how many people were waiting for its release. $99 for the bare board is a nice deal. Particularly given how much N64 backup devices cost.

theres no cic-less or NTSC-cic ed64s left in stock so if you really want one not much choice left. everyone knows the CIC isn't worth 15 bucks on its own, youre paying for the installation. I doubt anyone with an n64 doesnt own atleast 1 game with a 6102 in it

Waiting is also a choice. He has a lot more potential buyers so I'm sure he'll get around to making more available. And as it is now all of them are bought up.
