few times i got my packages after two month delay, when i almost forget about those packages. they was delayed cuz packages was delivered in wrong country, and then was redirected to me
One I had a order to Brazil that was accidentally shipped to Australia by USPS and then they had to ship it over to Brazil.
Thank you for these answers. They told me that Spanish postoffice asked the French postoffice what happened, and they are waiting for an answer and i have to be patient. And they said : It is a strange case and the information we have now could not repay the amount. I have to wait, but i am really annoyed about this situation. I know that an international signature mean nothing, they did not send it with UPS or DHL, but with the state service, the cheapest one.
What do you guys mean when you say that international signatures aren't worth anything? I only know how the Swedish system works, which are in contrast the safest way to send anything. The sender "sign in" the package at the shipping location. When it reaches it's destination you will then have to "sign out" the package. A procedure which requires an id card with name matching the addressee on the package. Theres a very slim chance that the shipment should end up in wrong hands. Even if it did, due to human error on the clerks part, the information about who collected the shipment will be logged by the Swedish postal service for quite a while.
In France you will have to pay an extra if you want it to be delivered directly to the receiver, with receiver's signature and ID. They did the same, i am sure that French Post signed and then tried to send it to me.
I have never been required to use any form of ID when signing for a package (I am in the U.S.). So yes in your case it is not useless, but I have no idea if most countries require this. Other countries laws are not really a concern of mine since there is nothing I can really do about them. Its actually often cheaper to insure a package than it is to have a required signature. If the package gets delivered to the wrong person I still get my money back from the insurance company. If package is uninsured and requires signature and gets delivered to the wrong person ... what really can I do about it? Nothing much. If they are in U.S. and I knew who signed for it technically I could file charges against them, but unless it was some super expensive item it wouldn't be worth it. Most people don't even know what they are signing for. They just sign for it and may find out later it was not something they bought. So you are right in some cases it may not be completely useless, but for me I find it to be useless in most cases and not worth the extra cost.
I've tried to update the firmware but the software didn't update the ED64 - I've got always the "failed" message I use this Hard/Software: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Mini-Altera-...530?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a65225f02 http://www.ebay.de/itm/10pin-10-PIN...982?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c1aa0ef86 Quartus II 11.1 Build 173 Web Edition 32 bit Windows XP SP3 Is this the wrong Quartus Software or do you have any other idea? Many thanks in advance.
you give not enoug info, so i can't guess what you doing wrong may be jtag driver not installed, may be jtag not selected in quartus, may be you forget to turn on power on n64, may be you not keep connecotr by fingers or something else. i not used quartus 11.1, by the way, so i don't know if new quartus have some bugs or not
Is there any possibility that using a gameshark with my ED64 will screw up the ED? I have a few GS to spare, so it's worth a shot.
On another post it mentions that the GameShark will be flashed with the ED64's software, so don't use it.
Well you see, I don't care about the gameshark. I read that post, but I still want to try. I figure it may work with an older gameshark because it may not be flashed the same way. I just care about keeping my ED safe
Sorry, the driver is installed - I can select the USB Blaster in the Hardwaresettings - the section "JTAG Settings" is empty (no Server entry) For the Update I select "active serial programming, select the latest firmware from the Harddrive, set "verify" and "program/configure" and click "start". The program shows immediately the "failed" message in the "progress" bar. The N64 power was on and I've hold the connector. After the first connection the red and the green lights were flashing for a second. Can you link the software, please? Thank you
probaly problem in connection. your connector is not angular, like this, and i guess that you just push from up to down, and pins just stick out via pcb and don't touch contacts
Hmm...it looks like that the connector has contact to the pcb. In which direction has to look the read marked cable? To the to top of the pcb? Thank you.
I finally got around to checking the suspected broken trace and it turned out to be just fine so I need to go ahead and swap this out. I tried emailing this address but it didn't go through EDIT: Nevermind, found the address on your site. Thanks again for the understanding!
I'm surprised KRIKzz didn't post this here [ED64 new interface and very fast loading] Very nice! Is there any chance that you will add this type of GUI to either the Super ED or Mega ED? Also, on the ED64, would there be a way to install 2 CIC chips (6105 & 6102) and switch between them either via the menu or a hard switch? This would make the ED64 100% compatible with every commercial rom (IIRC). Thanks.
i still can't understand why so many people care so much about banjo tooie? may be i can fix bootloader to make possible to use 6105 for all games, but i will never make any extra slots for cic. mega ed will be have some gui, but i don't know about oter carts
