Someone didn't read the whole thread...

 

I ordered one. I even spoke to him through the chat. Seems like a nice guy. I asked him if he could ship the box with it. He agreed to ship it to me with the box and manual. I didn't even know it had a manual aside from the back of the box. Can't wait until l it arrives.

P.S. I chose the blue one.
P.S.S. He is also selling models in a GBA SP housing. I am pretty sure it is the same thing in a different case except that is has the clam-shell and recharges (I think). LINK

 

Wouldn't you expect to get the box with it? I would. They are meant to be new which in my mind mean with box and instructions.

 

That is what I assumed too.

 

I think it would really all depend. My first assumption would be that you would get a box and manual but there have been times where even I've bought things that were considered "new" and were not shipped with either boxes or manuals. Case in point would be my FC Twin that I use, it came boxed but there were no manuals nor did they ship any AV cables in the box. Odd thing was it was new from the company and factory sealed.

I did expect to get the box and manual. I just thought i would try contacting the guy first to make sure since the description said the only content was the console. I hate to say it, but I don't think he was including the boxes or manuals. He said that he didn't think to include them because it was only a clone and not a real console. Looking at the stuff he sells, he is probably treating it as he would a modern clone (one made currently). We may have misunderstood each other (due to translation), but I am pretty sure that the unit comes without the box or manual.

Does anyone have any information on the SP version. I can't seem to find anything about it other than from the pictures on the seller's page. It still seems that it is the same thing but with a clam-shell and a rechargeable battery.

Does anyone know if Japanese Gameboy/Gameboy Color games work on the Clone by anychance?

 

I ordered 2 of these 1 blue 1 purple about 1 week ago ^^ hoping they are a good clone

 

Gameboy games are region free. They will work if the clone hardware is compatible, but the region isn't going to be a factor.
