Group buy: Universal Saturn modchips

If you have not already posted before the cut off for a modchip please post a request with the quantity desired and if anyone drops out or doesn't send payment in a timely manner I'll go first come first served. The information below is not to be considered up to date.

Not seeing anything in the rules for or against a group buy, so here we go.

Looking at buying some universal (model 1 and model 2 compatible) modchips. While I do have a sizable stock of model 2 chips they're not model 1 compatible (at least without modification) and compatibility is a crap shoot. To get a decent price per unit I need to purchase 50 chips minimum and at the cost I was originally quoted some time ago it was $21 per modchip making it over a grand to do the minimum.

Now I'll have to verify the supplier has the stock and find out what the latest price is but I wouldn't bother posting this if I wasn't reasonably certain the price hadn't changed much if any. I won't be bothering to contact the supplier until I have at least 25 chips spoken for, preferably 35. Anyone getting in on this before the 25 will get them at cost (which is the price of the chip plus original shipping charges spread over the entire batch plus shipping to the final destination). The rest I'll be selling later at a small markup to make back my costs.

Anyone interested?

I don't plan on profiteering from shipping costs, wouldn't be more than a couple of bucks.

Up to 22 right now. When I decide to place the order that will be the cut off for at cost purchasers. Anything after that will be my own personal stock to be used at my sole discretion. Those of you who have put in requests up to that point I'll honor the at cost price if you wish for a few more.
