    Um, Samsung from Ali Express? I am pretty sure to win if I bet this was a counterfeit card you got.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Have you tried another card reader? I had issues exactly like the above when using a cheap £1 adapter from poundland, it would transfer a couple only to crap out with an error & the option to continue or end the program.

    New adapter & no issues since, though I only tested it a few times after since I use my UGC as the main device.

    Yeah.. it's possible considering the amazingly low price of 15 bucks.. lol.. But it's working so far so good for transferring data on exFat and NTFS. Oh well.

    I had a Memory Stick for my PSP from these sources. Right, it was working and cheap as hell. But the PSP could not handle it. Well, games loaded : I would select my game and then make a coffee and then load my save and then go to the toilet and then drink my coffee to wait for my savegame to finish loading. You get the drill.

    With something as sensitive than the GD-ROM, you really need something by the book, not a knock-off.

    It's a built in reader in a HP laptop. if it starts transferring it always finishes. I get the folder missing error before it can transfer anything or even rebuild the gdmenu folder.

    I could try an external adapter if i can find one around the house.

    I tried the test version. I got the same folder not found error. Checked the sd card and the folder is there but it is renamed 02_

    It also renamed 90% of the folders with a underscore and now duplicates 01, 01_ etc and I need to now manually rename the folders.

    It is quite true that these are knock offs and that using these knock offs I had no success. I have tried a 128GB & a 512GB and I have another 512GB card on the way which I ordered like 2 weeks ago that I was hoping that it would work. But I guess I will have to jump onto the legit card bandwagon and say, "yeap.. this device definitely needs a card where you gotta spend more than a few bucks if you want those high capacity cards to work on it.. but even then there is no certainty because there is the question of; will fat 32 give you problems?" heh.

    At 512GB, FAT 32 won't give problems.

    I believe it is as my wii HD is a 2TB formatted with FAT32. The only problem I have believing is finding a micro/SD card that IS compatible and affordable.. but I guess I'll have to wait. As it is right now... those high speed PNY brands look promising.. just not so much the price atm. lol

    Your Wii HD goes as far as FAT32 can. :-D
    So, for DC, we have quite room. But, yeah, affordable is not for today, current predictions would be for 2017.

    I just imagine in 2020 when 2tb SD cards are available the GDEmu with GDMenu will be the best option over an IDE to micro SATA adapter with Dreamshell as the Dreamcast can power these drives with no problem. I cringe to think how much they will cost initially but we live in a time of great change so it is bound to happen. Then the UGC will not be the most attractive option once these cards come way down in price since it means the system can look 100% stock on the outside while providing the space for every game and all apps/emulators/homebrew we want...

    Let's just hope so. 100% sock would mean that the latest firmware has taken care of all the faults of games that don't work atm. Such games as NBA Hoopz. The GDI nor CDI doesn't seem to boot and it shows the BSOD only so far of games that I've tested.. Well.. this is all in hopes for the future. :)

    The v5 UGC has an internal USB so that is already possible with UGC. Just get a 2TB use stick, or stick the USB Disk internally.

    He asked me if I wanted the internal one last time I ordered and they are listed on the website, so I guess so.
