Need testers, please.

I want to release this to the public, its working fine & everything functions, but wouldnt mind some feedback & more testers.

I have changed quite a lot, when it comes to installing the softmod & also how it functions, I had to create a couple apps (using the Configmagic source, basically the XKUtils for EEPROM backing up) & also added the UDDAE exploit in to the factory reset option, this way you can resoftmod without one of the games, fixed a load of menu issues & cleaned them up.

Hopefully this is the last version I need to release, since I cant really do much more when it comes to the softmod part of things.

Basically I need the Extras disc tested, the factory reset feature (including the UDDAE), the upgrade & update functions tested & the softmod tested, as well as some of the NKPatcher Settings.
(like EEPROM Backing up & Virtual eeprom & if its easy to use eg....)

If I can get some more feedback I can get it released & be done with it :lol:

Not with this setup I can't, as this is meant for new folk or people that don't know or are not confident in modding the system. Basically noob friendly.

If you're just wanting a save that can be used for TSOP flashing I have one I created years ago, I can send you that if you want, has the most used bios included.
(It's what I use when TSOP flashing any Xbox)

Hi i update my old softmod to 2014 from this disc v1.2 extras disc including the update for 2014 softmod rocky5 tested on a v1.6 xbox is working perfectly thanks rocky 5.

I'll test this for you. I've wanted to softmod my XBOX forever, never got around to it. I've only ever played the XBOX twice, so I'm about as noob as they come.

Curious: Why is it called 2014 if you're releasing it in 2016?

 

I originally released this in 2014 & this is just an update for it.

I was thinking of calling it 2016.... but easier just releasing a v1.2.

No not really, 007 doesn't require you to load single player with my softmod, so if you want to test that you can.

Note, the softmod save is required also, the exploit game saves are just loaders so to speak.

 

Is dash 5960 necessary?

No, the 5960 dash was only used for dualbooting to a retail dashboard.

As Ndure uses the 4920 dashboard files.

All you have to do is, stick the softmod save & one of the exploit saves onto your Xbox hdd, load the game up & select the save, press (A) when asked & that's you.
