Thanks again Krikkz. OS.25 sorted it all out. enjoying the fat32 and x2 speed goodness.

    Hi KRIKzz

Ive noticed that in v24 Mortal Kombat II for 32X wont run (black screen) yet other 32X game's run fine. Also noticed some graphic errors in Ghouls 'n Ghosts. Aside from that i'm loving the faster flashing speed.

So I tried downgrading back to v23, no success. Upgraded to v25, nothing. Then I formated the SD card to FAT32 (was FAT16 before) then reloaded the ROM's onto the card. Loaded up MKII 32X and its working. The graphic errors in Ghouls 'n Ghosts are now gone too.

I got a funny bug here.
I updated to v25 and everytime I load the select game menu, I a "sel error: 50" error message. So when I try to load it again, it works fine.
Can KRIKzz or someone explain this?

I'm using a v12 firmware version in a japanese Mega Drive model 1, with a japanese 32x plugged on it.

By the way, now the loading is really pretty faster, faster and furious!

I also experienced something. In os24 and 25 if the sd card is formatted fat32 it doesn't appear to display more than 40 files in a folder. My "S" directory has like 60-70 roms in it but only 40 of them are showing. If I format the sd card to fat16 they are all there. Strange.

full format definitely should halp. also beter not use file managers like a total comander for rom copy because they always make a fragmented files, also they may generate not same fat records as records which generated by regular windows explorer.
i have 10 different sd cards, but i never seen such problems, so i can't fix bugs which i can't reproduce

Well, I did a full format several times and I even used "SD formatter" to "fix" my 2Gigs RS MMC Kingston card, but this problem persist.
I don't use any file manager.
Anyway I am now using fat16 with OS 25 and everything works smooth ;-)

    Same here.

I don't have a problem with using fat16. I was just making you aware of the problem. I also did full format and I do not using file managers.

So theoretically SD cards up to 32GB are supported with the update?
Has anyone tried a 4GB SD card? Because the Megadrive romset I downloaded was just over 2GB and I still need some space for a bunch of SMS games.
(I just ordered my MD Everdrive :p)

    Hello,

I just upgraded OS to OS version 25, now the Format SD option within toolbox is gone. As my SD-Card is working normally (e.g. loading games etc works fine) this is no problem at all but I'm still wondering if this was intended???

Tested with several sd/mmc-cards on MD 1 and Multi Mega, firmware version 13.

    Greetings.
