With FAT16 and 16 kb block (I have 256 card so I can use only FAT16 with 16 kb block) I didn't so far encounter any problems assuming that you are using FAT with 16 kb or 32kb block. I update mainly for x2 flash speed and so far I'm happy with upgrade.
Tested 28 RC1 with my new Everdrive and a few MD, 32X games and also the Sega cd regionfree bios with success! The only game that didn't load was Megaman The Wily's War but that could be a bad dump maybe.
Hi everyone, I am new to the forum yesterday and I received my everdrive version comes with the V24, I could not even try it, but I've got to download the V27 that I saw yesterday and today that was available not see it. I only see up to V23 Have you removed to make way for a new one? Thanks and keep well Great job KRIKzz
If you look 2 post up from yours, Krikzz posted v28RC1. He must've removed v27 since it still had issues.
Megaman has certain protection which will stop you from playing the game on different region hardware. You'll need a patched ROM to play, or patch it yourself with the master Game Genie code.
Genetik & thanks bertobp Thanks, I saw, but I was clear. Mine came with the V24 I'll leave it for now until a stable. Bertobp a pleasure to find you around here mate.
batroxsunrise probably someone of distributors updated OS on your cart because i still use v23 for preinstall on new carts
Might be me, I updated a handful of them to v24 and then everyone started having problems with it so I stopped.
Tested Rom is marked as european and my mega drive 2 is pal. Also tested with a region modded mega drive 1 in both 50 and 60Hz and also tested changing the language but still a black screen. Do you have a link to a ready hacked rom?
Its not region protection, it needs to be patched because the game originally used Serial EEPROM for saving, not the usual SRAM. The Everdrive-MD does not support Serial EEPROM saves, so you need to patch the game to use SRAM saving instead.
