I think you need a Japanese copy of Crash 3 to play the Pocketstation game. I have not played it yet but I have heard some positive things about it. Wander on over to gamefaqs (of all places) for a FAQ on what the game modes, etc are.

Eh, I know the PS2 is crap :p It was one of my non-working ones that decided to work. The games start to load, but then the video screws up, kind of wierd if i remember right. Certain PS2 games only work partially too (megaman X collection would load, let me select the game and all that, but when i clicked on the game, the video went poof but the sounds and everything could still be heard / played). So yea, crappy PS2 :p

I don't know what you mean by your PocketStation will not work. I remember seeing these in my local store all the time and even in Funcoland. Wll that would be funny now if the pocketsatation is unable to work in your. PocketStations could also be used with Rival Schools Two Dating Game.

I wonder if the PSP could vouch for a PocketStation. This would be nice right about now.

While I haven't bought it yet, I'm having a hard time resisting for whatever reason.
My local CompUSA has two new/sealed 32MB Tapwave Zodiac systems in their bargain bin for $99. Always wanted one, but never got around to buying one. Its quick death didn't help matters either, but I guess I could justify the PDA functionality at this super low price even if the gaming aspect sucks.

Best price I've seen for a zodiac was like $160 for the 128mb model.

That's more than I'd like to spend for a discontinued item even if it has 96MB more ram.

Its use is for creating sound to use on SEGA Library, it can be linked to the DC Dev Box or a Macintosh (PPC604 or higher). It has Midi In/Out too. Apparently there is a Dreamcast Sound Creator's Assistant Tools CD-ROM with tools for creating sound on the Sound Box.
