Yet another of the more peculiar Playstation controllers.



This one is the Hori Waiwai Mahjong controller. It is actually quite big and has a clear see through front and blue back. It has a little screen on the controller as well that displays your pieces (to hide them from your opponent?). Anyway, it was brand new and uber cheap.

At least I got some quality in the form of a mint Star Ocean Blue Sphere. Another game I have wanted to play for ages.

 

Xband + development discs.

Sadly I didn't win the system disc but there's more of them in the sea..

 

Just bought a GP2x. Should be coming in about 4 days. I am EXTREMELY excited!

bought a gamecube component cable, if anyones interested, goldenshop currently has some instock, theyve also got their dterminal-modded-to-vga cables in stock as well apparently

 

Had a weird spendy fit in HMV today.

I decided that the time has come to learn to love my 360. So I am giving this whole "online" thing a shot, thus I got myself a Wireless networking adapter - total rip off at 60 quid-ish IMHO. But I have no other choice to get my 360 online.

Also as I think the 360 itself looks a bit rubbish I got an amusing faux-wood faceplate. That can tide me over till the Chomehounds one.

Also in non-gaming I got the excellent "Bows and Arrows" album from The Walkmen. Very passionate and with some awesome drumming in places. Oh and a Robbin Williams stand up DVD - the guy is a damn legend.

I'm really on the fence about getting one myself...I see lots of good things posted about them, but I'm still skeptical.

 

It's worth pointing out, they've got the official cables in stock for $54. Considering they often run £60 or so on ebay that's a damn good deal.

 

I totally agree with you on that, £60 for a wifi usb adapter is a ripoff, in my case my pc has a pci wifi adapter and I'm also lucky to have an ethernet adapter on my motherboard, since my 360 shares the same monitor as my pc, I plugged the 360 on my mobo ethernet port and share my internet connection through that and here you go a cheap connection to internet for my 360. The only downside is that my pc needs to be on for the console to get access to the internet.

I kinda like the look of the 360, it reminds me of the Dreamcast with its white robe.

Picked up this rather cool DC keyboard on ebay for only £10, it was boxed and sealed, anyone know if I can get an adapter/mod to let me use it on a PC? If not, quake III and hidden and dangerous it is...:thumbsup:

Got EM - eNCHANT arM on the ol Xbox 360 today. (Yes that is the way it is written on the case)

Funny thing is this game has been out for ages but I still got it with the Pre-order gift! A guess that the game has sold pretty poorly. No surprises.

Anyway the "Premium Archive" hardcover book that comes with it is really nice. Defo the kind of thing you would usually spend 10/15 quid on. Lots of nice high quality artwork and a long Manga at the end.

Oh and the game with book was less than 18 quid inc postage. Japanese 360 is the place to be!
