Just got this in the mail,nothing fancy.

 

Just purchased these, my god japanese dvd's are so obscenely expensive good job theres not loads of stuff im after thats for sure.

Proof that not all japanese tv is shite. Only 99.99% :lol:

 

woah, very nice! I'd really love to own those boxes, but as you said the price is just ridiculous and I'm not going to pay it. -__- What did it set you back btw? I remember seeing all seasons up on yahoo for about 25'000yen.

Well i got them from amazon japan as dvd's are one of the few things they will ship outside of japan. The were just over 6000 yen each but due to the exchange rate they worked out very expensive but i love the show so much that i was willing to take the hit as this is something i will watch again & again.

Now if only i could get Yowiko mujintou seikatsu on dvd. I'd love to see that show sadly it never made it to dvd

Anyone know if there are any companies who might pick up the show for U.S. release? Cause I know they were trying to sell it at a New York trade show the the pitch is on youtube.

 

Im hoping someone does as it's one of the few tv shows i really do enjoy, i'd buy them all over again in subtitled english just to support the show. A videogame show thats actually good & watchable unlike the shit that they attempt here, it helps that Arino is very likeable & dosen't come off as obnoxious like most videogames shows in the west.

This finally turned up there was a big customs sticker on the box saying i had to pay fees but it looks like they forgot as it was still delivered :lol:

 

Why does the back of that packaging remind of that vacuum bed in the softcore japanese clip that was circulated a couple of months back?

Your welcome, theres a lot of good episodes to enjoy, i recommend the 4 part far north games special where he tries to find the most northern arcade in japan.

It's a dancing game, only played a bit so far & im struggling with the controls i cant tell if its me just been crap or the controls. I had the same problems with happy dance collection & we cheer so im guessing i just have to learn the timing so we'll see.
