£225... all vouchers. I traded in some DVDs and my XBOX 360... No cash was involved and I am well chuffed.

I've gone off Computer Exchange after they wouldn't let me swap a CD I got as a present (2 day exchange policy? Bah, humbug!)

 

Found a PS1 SCHP 7052 in a skip/dumpster along with a pad, all leads, memory card and F1 game. Works perfectly.

 

Just picked this up to do some tinkering with. Always wanted to play with some server hardware, though those fans at the back are going to have to go - if you think a TOOL sounds like a jet taking off, this thing sounds like an entire fleet of Concords on full afterburner.

Nice! I'm always happier to see perfectly good old hardware live on than end up in the landfill.

What is it exactly? Bandai Namco game collection?

 

It's the limited edition of Game center CX2 for the DS it comes with a dvd of the tv show thats called the Bandai namco special.

 

Importaku, mind me asking how much that beauty set you back ?

 

It cost me £46 inc shipping from play asia as i had a voucher to knock a bit of the price off.

 

Ah to fall in love again. I couldn't resist buying a SFC with 22 games just because I wanted to plays SMW again (as well as as a dozen F1 games...)

Desperate times call for desperate messures. Yes in the sticks it may be hard to find a cheap SNES AV lead so you have to improvise using a standard AV lead plus an RF lead and a pair of plyers to bridge the ground gap....

It's more a case of only having 2 plug sockets in the room, so I can't put the TV on a table, still large flat cushion and playing on the floor is what gaming is all about.

I'm not going to let something like not having an AV cable stop me from playing games. Still can't find an Nintendo AV cable for less then 500 Yen, but I have found several GC TV adapter units that could be turned into an AV lead.

 

Agreed, I never use any chairs as well - just my beanbag (which is pretty low for some reason) that I move in front of whatever TV I want to play on. The only occasion I use a sofa to sit on is while watching movies... games need to be played like how Japanese 8-year olds would do!
