Any hard stuff in there, like nudes/softcore? Never saw an "MA-18" rating, normally they just have "18" or "X" written on it. Is MA-18 worse?

I guess a pair of brests gets you a MA18 What's funny is that they used that American style rating rather than the standard Japanese Saturn ratings. I'd say it would probably get a yellow adult mark. Then again the Tenchi Muyo media disc has a red adult mark becauset here's a video clip of Ryoko in the onsen with her brests showing :shrug:

What would you guys say is the most sexually offensive Saturn game? Some Super Real Mahjongg stuff, Haunted Casino, the Playboy Karaoke discs even?

 

Oh that's easy Idol Janshi Suchie Pai II (T-5705G) mainly as it has top half nudity of questionable aged girls, spanking, s&m and a dress up Miyuri game in the costumes of the other characters.

Up until 1996 most Saturn games were divided into Red X and yellow 18 games, the former featuring top nudity, however Sega decided from 1997 onwards not to allow any more red X games, so games like Super Real Mahjong P7 were censored, where as earlier games from arcade mahjong titles were straight ports.

Most adult games on most machines are quite tame, if you wanted even a hint of real porn then you would need a machine like the PC-9801, MSX, Windows, Mac, X68000, FM Towns. Now you can see why a lot of members here own the FM Towns Marty, the buying expensive games that are available on other systems was all a ruse.

MA-18 was weird for Idol Janshi Suchie Pai special as it didn't feature any nudity, it should have been an yellow 18 game as you see underwear (oo-er...), however the Remix version of the game did feature topless nudity, as the 3DO version of the game featured the same graphics as the remix version and the arcade version (also called Special)....

Why is it called special? Well original the game was on the Super Famicom and when you won you saw characters in their full outfits... so when it went to the arcade it became a normal arcade mahjong game.

THe Vic-Tokai Playboy Karaoke "games" feature full on nudity of real women. Surely these are more pornographic that any anime based mahjong game. Also, that janken one features a bit of muff as well as breast live action video.

Going on a Pawnshop trip this week to see if i can find any real games.
Did have emulator discs for Megadrive, Snes and Neo Geo Pocket which is a big bonus

 

There was also the fact I was a cheap bastard and didn't want to spend more then 300 yen on a AV lead, picked one up for Y105 a few days later anyway.

I also bought a N64 with Goldeneye, Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros and I feel kind of dirty and horrible.

Ross, if you end up with a GDrom set up, I have 2 different versions of Guilty Gear XX (can't remember which, but will look). I only need one so we could no doubt trade / swap or whatever at that point!

Both good fighting games, although I think GG is my favorite if push came to shove.
