i said it once and i'll say it again... just keep the internets out of my consoles and everything would be fine ;__;
I normally always use 'bogus' details when signing up however the only downfall to that is if one were to enter a competition and ending up winning it, the folks running the competition will turn around and say: 'Congratulations you're a lucky winner of the Sony Bravia 50" HD (3D) TV along with a Limited Edition: God of War IV PS3 Package as confirmed we will dispatch your prize within 14 days to the following address: 123 Stupid Drive Sonysuck-on-trent Fantasyworld IH8 5ONY But then again you could always say I've since moved this is my new address.........
LOL I just laughed my arse off, thanks man. Well in my mind Sony is FUCKED ! But whether it is karma or not. Then I feel for the people who has gotten their info stolen. Thanks to the hacker(s) ?
Umm Create innovation? Shape the entire console industry? Or try and honor a legal agreement only to have your Japanese "brother" stab you in the back and sign a deal with *ugh* Phillips instead?
I was actually being sarcastic. The N64 faired well compared to the Saturn but trust you me, it was hard being a nintendo owner/fan back in the day. Most people had a PSX and didn't appreciate the N64..I couldn't trade games with "everyone" like I could during the GB/NES era for example. Let it be known though that every single PSX user I had known was using pirated discs at some point. Sony changed the way 3rd parties would expect development relationships to evolve. The fact that they used cheaper CDs than gamepaks was also a plus for having a larger profit margin on the PS/Saturn. In total Sony "modernized" the way the console business worked and functioned. The n64 would have been a better console (although it's awesome) if it had more games. Thankfully what games it had still make the headlines (mario 64, Ocarina of time, and of course GaijinPunch's favourite game on the platform, Iggy's Wrecking Balls.)
I've had the email now. Does anyone know if these emails are being sent out to everybody, or exclusively people who have been affected?
I'd assume it's a blanket e-mail. The logistics of singling out just certain individuals to contact would be mind boggling.
They filter out any lawyers to be just in case :thumbsup: Did you check your spam box? I received the US mail on the 27th, and EU + JP yesterday night.
See here: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=492378&postcount=77 What *is* interesting is that LeGIT received his a couple of days ago, whilst I only received it last night - which either means their system is very slow at sending out emails or that they are being quite meticulous about who they are sending to.
It wouldn't surprise me is such a large amount of mails sent out would be flagged by some ISP/mail servers as spam before they even reach your mailbox. It would make sense to not send out all mails at the same time, so I guess some people are still to receive it.
I have 3 PSN accounts tied to different emails, got my EU one 2 days ago, followed by a US one and finally another EU one a day later.
