I checked the cd but it looks just like the version found at satakore. The serial number is the same too (610-6848).
Ok, thanks. To be sure it is not an alternate version (revision 1 for ex), could you check the matrix information of the cd (data found on the inner circle of the cd) ? You must have something like: 610-6848P-02097 1MM1 C 7Z IFPI L223 Thanks again for your help.
I just checked the cd again and it has the same number in the middle that you posted. Hope that helps.
Thanks again Juste. So the CD is identical and doesn't have any revision. just the cardboard is not the same
Found a good page with jpn Hibaihins: http://homepage3.nifty.com/tarenosuke/notforsale-ss.html There are also loads of other Hibaihins for other consoles such as FC, SFC, MD ect. if you click 'Back'. Don't know if that page is already well-known though, so I just decided to post it. I've been looking for the Iron Hook for ages now, can somebody tell me what its going for in Japan? And if I will have problems so find it in common shops in and around Akiba/DenDenTown. http://homepage3.nifty.com/tarenosuke/gazou-iron.html
Iron Hook is just another cheap slot game that nobody gives a crap about. If you do find it you'll be looking at around 500 to 1000 yen. The box set on the other had is really hard to find. Yakumo
What's VF Kids "Java Tea Edition"? I saw it in a japanese game shop first for 3400JPY, now I googled a bit and found it on Play-Asia.com: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-8m-49-en-70-4jc.html Any information about this? Its a hibaihin at least.
Just VF kids with ads for Java Tea Drink (videos between fights and some other stuff). Promotional item, not for sale.
Thanks But it seems to be rather rare outside of Japan, doesnt it? I never saw it untill that day in the shop and I look at every saturn corner of ebay shops and I'm also browsing a lot on yahoo.
a little rare but if you wait for a great deal, you can find it on eBay for 15-20 USD + shipping from Japan. A friend of mine got it for this price lat year. Do not buy it for more than 30 USD+shipping
I have some questions. 1) Today I got a bunch of Saturn hibaihins, including the Virtua Fighter Mihon Hibaihin which is basically Virtua Fighter except for being limited to 3 stages. After having fought against that woman on the top of a skyscraper, a sega- and AM2-logo appears and the demo resets itself. Different from other Saturn games, this one doesn't have a SEGA-logo printed on the inner ring of the disc. Maybe someone can tell me if that disc was used BEFORE the Saturns launch in autumn 1994 to promote it? Was this maybe the first Saturn disc produced except for development utilities? Here a picture: 2) Among the bundle was also a Panzer Dragoon "For demonstration only" Hibaihin (blue disc). Interesting about this is the actual case of the game as it isn't for Panzer Dragoon but for Greatest Nine 1. I missed out the serial, its GS-9017 - the same as the retail Greatest Nine-game. The official demo version of the game has a different serial. What game does this backcover belong to? It does not look like a counterfeit as the characters are printed very sharp like any other retail game. 3) Was "Iron Hook" a hibaihin or was it for sale in shops? On satakore its listed as a retail game but on this jpn page it is listed as a Hibaihin: http://homepage3.nifty.com/tarenosuke/gazou-iron.html Thanks in advance.
Of course I played it before, but no matter how hard I try, I can't remember the names of all those fighters :110: Good to know, thanks! :icon_bigg Yeah, the disc got mixed up, but I am still not able to figure out to what version of Greatest Nine this backcover might belong to As you can see, the artwork on the back is quite basic like for a demo, but the serial GS-9017 is not the one from the demo but from the retail disc. @yakumo Thanks. I think there also would not have been a spine-card coming with it if it was a hibaihin release.
