Anyone have a link or info on the top few rare Japanese games? Not the unreleased ones or promo ones, just commercial ones. K
dj898 got the Saturn version ofthe 32X game Stella Assault the otherday and I have a few rareish games such as Saturn Music School. Yakumo
Well here is the list of all the acclaim games released in Japan.. T-8113G Alien Trilogy T-8118G Batman Forever The Arcade Game T-8111G Big Hurt Baseball T-8101G D No Syokutaku T-8124G D No Syokutaku Re-Release T-8115G Ironman T-8107G Mortal Kombat II T-8122G NBA Jam Extreme T-8102G NBA Jam Tournament Edition T-8105G NFL Quarterback Club '96 T-8116G NFL Quarterback Club '97 T-8106G Revolution X T-8104G Rise 2 Ressurrection T-8119G Spacejam T-8114G Striker '96 T-8123G The Crow T-8129G Time Commando T-8103G Virtua Photostudio T-8112G Wrestle Miania The Arcade Game T-8120G WWF In Your House T-8109G Yellow Brick Road
While a few on that list are rather hard to come by, none are really rare. I'd say Taromaru & Stellar Assault are probably the two rarest straight up releases.
since we are on the rare JPN release how about that soba deluxe or whatever it's called and the other one that I cannot recall the title ... maybe Gaijinpunch can fill me here as the similar thread was/is on his forum... By the way the Accalim titles list above, don't think any of it is rare in Japan...
Here's Delisoba Deluxe. The other one(s) you're referrin to are likely Heim Waltz and Eyeful Home. Both are harder to find than Delisoba Deluxe. This will blow your mind, but who developed DD is just freakin' strange.
Yes Delisoba Deluxe and you are correct I was referring to Heim Waltz an Eyeful Home... weird and expensive stuff I'd say...
When was that DD game developed? I remember watching TFP2 in Japan and they still had that game in there, I think (very fun show I might add )
Don't forget the Enemy Zero Special Package too..I believe that's up there in the saturn rarity stakes. I've certainly never seen it complete with the clothes ever..whereas I have seen the others like DD, Waltz, Eyeful, and Super Kerin for sale numerous times(and indeed have 3 of them) Also can anyone confirm if the following exist... Chelnov proto - I've heard cdr versions that only work on debug saturns exist?? Scorcher (japanese version not us/uk) - heard a japanese version was made (ie insert and instructions design) but not released??? Sonic Fighters proto - apparently there are a few examples with case, insert and manual??? As for regular releases I reckon mizubaku adventure and ffr boxset are pretty uncommon these days too..certainly I've seen more copies of stellar assault and taromaru for sale than I have of MB or FFR Boxset..but how to define rare..in terms of print run Taromaru prolly pisses all over MB. (?)
A member of this board owns that very CDR that you talk about and even made a video of it. I won't say anymore unless the owner of the game wants to talk more about it. Yakumo
Ah yes that Enemy zero set with the wooden box, gun replica and stuff that was personally delivered by Kenji eno. Only 20 sets made
Only 20 sets, grief. No wonder I've never seen it for sale..or know anyone who has seen it for sale..lol. Can anyone confirm if the sonic fighters is a myth though? I've heard the odd chappie mention it..some say it got 30% done, others 70+% done, with all the fighters and many moves already sorted? Or is this one of those "Mr X of Sega said we are planning a saturn version..as reported in such and such magazine" type affairs? Oh..and sell me the Chelnov cdr please oh nameless one
Yeah, I've never seen one of those either... didn't know there was 20. Thought it was at least 100... Glad I've never played the game. I might go hunting one if I liked it. Here's the Chelnov video complete with checksum on boot. You can go here to see a list of games that were at lesat announced in the Japanese market, but at one point cancelled. It's not a perfect list, but pretty accurate AFAIK. I compiled it from a few Japanese lists.
