I'll check that out later on  but get this. I actually had Waku waku Monster all this time! I had even made a video for my side ! I'm really getting old now that I forget what games I've got  Anyway, I now have two copies of the game so one to play and another to sell.

Since I started collecting Japanese Saturn games, I was wondering what the really rarities were. Radiant Silvergun for instance is rather expensive and sought after by a lot of people - but you can find it all the time whenever you want. Just have 150$ in your pocket and the fun can begin.

To all who try to collect "real" rarities... what are the most uncommon and hard to get items? Real gems apart from Taromaru ect. and even apart from the three high-price hibaihins Heim Waltz, Eyeful Home and Delisoba Deluxe as those are also ALWAYS available at any bigger Japanese shop.

Maybe the complete collectors can help. I was thinking of EMIT Value Set, Yûkyû Gensôkyoku T-27804G, the EG Word Processor software (except the one included w/the printer) and Voice World Sample.

Actually, I've owned 4 copies of Playboy Karaoke 1 but have only seen vol2 once on Yahoo Auctions and lost out to a bloody proxy bidding service

Come on,don't be cheap! ^^ 5200, not 5800,by the way.
I found in 30 sec what you found once in your life on Yahoo Auctions, and you're not happy? ^^
Surugaya has GREAT stock, but you always have to ask inquiries about condition of the games because it never appears (defects, spine card or not, etc)

I think Yakumo is saying it's not worth 1000 yen let alone 5200 yen and he much rather wait until it appears in a bargain bucket in Hard Off. Quite frankly I agree with him, a lot of games maybe rare (and generally crap) but as it's only going to collect dust on a shelf I still rather pay as little as possible for it.

Yep, that's what I meant. I got the first Playboy Karaoke is a set of 50 game for a good price so paying over 5000 yen for the second seems silly to me. Still, I do appreciate the link that Adol sent.

I was just helping providing a source to find it,since it seems he told it was hard to find.
I'm not responsible of the price, and frankly, if you're not willing to pay 5200Y for a game, you'll miss many jewels (not this one,but in general).
    That's up to you.

    You're welcome.

I understand it.After paying 1800Y for my Rendering Ranger or 5000Y for my Chibi Maruko Chan Deluxe Quiz Neo AES Cart, i don't feel right to pay now 40 times this price.
But you'll see that 5200Y is a fair price for this title right now, checking with shops price or auctions.
You'll probably find it one day in a games bundle, good luck.

    Street Fighter Zero 3 RAM-box
    Pastel Muses (sealed)

What are those two worth, mint (no suntan / crushed boxset)? If I recall correctly, Pastel Muses is a very rare one let alone sealed... or am I confusing that with some other Puzzler like Modijya?

PM doesn't appear all that often, but it isn't very rare imo. No where near. I've picked up 2 sealed copies for less than 1000 yen each.

Well, I'll get it for 15 Euros then. Haven't had the chance yet to get it with domestic shipping so I can't say no. Just a shame it's sealed... I'd always prefer an opened copy as I hesitate to open sealed games. I loved to try it out though, apparently I've tricked out myself ^^

yes, Pastel Muses may seem rare but in fact it's not. You can find it without too much trouble in stores such as Mandrake or Manga Soko. I've had a few. Finding a factory sealed one isn't that easy mind you but even so it wouldn't be expensive.

Street Fighter Zero 3 with RAM isn't at all rare. Loads on Yahoo Auctions and in stores.

I guess I won't buy neither of them as the spines are slightly faded. But as you're already here, is Samurai Spirits IV any good? I like 1, 2 and 3 a lot but I don't know if IV maintains its predecessors quality. Could get the RAM box for 30 bucks.

I have Samurai Spirits IV on MVS and do like it. Fans of the series claim that it's closer to Shin Samurai Spirits while Zankurou Musouken is somewhat the black sheep in the family.

These are some of the priciest games, but definitely not the rarest. Because their scarcity is so well-known, they can easily be found. Rarer games are for instance Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku 1 regular version (NOT "Genteiban!!"), EMIT Value Set, Iron Hook, Virtual On Sega NET Limited Edition.

By the way, I was wondering if there's someone who owns the latter. I am currently trying to accumulate a complete JPN Sega NET-edition sub-collection and I've never seen the limited edition of Virtual On for Sega NET. According to satakore.com it is supposed to come in a cardboard sleeve?!

Another thing I was wondering about are the different Word Processor sets. As far as I know there are about five different versions, but I can't find any pictures from the Digital Camera Taiouban version and the Keyboard set version. Is the keyboard identical to the Sega NET keyboard and does it come in the same box, inside the big boxset w/printer etc.?
