I don't think the hello kitty is really an official product... at least, not from microsoft anyway...
What about the PAL TurboGraphx. Not the French converted PCEs, but the real deal PAL Turbo. No one ever remembers them for sale in any shops, but apparently they were sold in Spain? THe odd ones turn up, but if we're talking shop brought, that has to be a rare one. Rarer still would be an actual shop sales receipt.....
It was sold at Singapore retailers for a US equivalent of $61 if a eligible Samsung LCD was purchased. Only 550 produced. Idk, the box looks official:
I know they made those things, but from the paperwork i have they just don't exsist... What's odd is the fact that i've only seen 3 or 4 pictures of the hello kitty xbox, and they're always the same. Everytime one goes up on ebay i aske the seller for actual pictures, and every time they tell me that "their camera just broke last week". The other thing i find odd about the system is the fact that there isnt any trademarkings on "hello kitty" at all. The xbox logo has a trade mark, hello kitty does not. On top of it, the box looks like it's just concept art. I have a feeling someone just threw a sticker on a crystal xbox...
I do agree with the fact that this is the only "limited edition" that appeared to just be a skin. Even more odd that its not showing up in your paperwork.
Oh, and the other thing... Every article i can find on google has a dateline of April 1st... http://www.engadget.com/2005/04/01/hello-kitty-invades-the-xbox/ Oddly enough, the dateline on this one is set to the last posted comment, but if you look at the first comment the article was posted on april 1st http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/gadgetbuzz/0,39041749,39220767,00.htm April fools? I dunno.
Thank you ASSEMbler for the picture of RDI Halcyon. What is the release date ? It's a US products ? How many game exist ? Thanks
There are only 2 games, Thayer's Quest & Raiders vs. Chargers American football, it is a USA product. There's some info here http://www.atarihq.com/museum/nonatari/halcyon.html http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Misc/RDIHalcyon.htm
I got a recent email from a very big japanese collector I know and he reported me same voice about the tuner...sadly only very very few pieces were made and the production was almost immediately cancelled. I think I will never get one for my navi and screen set up:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
More pictures of the hello kitty. Notice the small writing on the bottom... anyone care to try and work out what it says? Also from the samsung website some more information. http://www.samsung.com/sg/presscenter/pressrelease/downloads/promo_106425.jpg
I remember lingir selling a hello kitty xbox last year. With, as usual, many pictures of it. I'll try to find the pics on my computer (if I dled them...)

RDI Halcyon, by far the hardest system to find. I would say it is the rarest. Or, what about the Pioneer Seed that Assembler mentioned a couple years ago h:
