Yup. It's just a regular Marty 2 console but with that extra outer brown box and clearish sheet. It was a prize in a competition, 20th Denny's Anniversary in Japan I assume (a little bizarre imo). Not sure how many there were, but it's the only one I know of. It's a NFS item so not one for this thread...but APE did mention Denny's so I wheeled the piccie out haha.

This thread was an interesting read! My first thought was the Entex AdventureVision, but something like 50k of those were supposedly made. If the World Book Tutorvision ever actually made it to market, I think it's a strong contender.
Maybe the PC Engine LT? The system is quite expensive, but i have no idea how many are actually made.
The LT was sold quite often I believe (compared to systems like the Entex Adventure Vision), but it's very expensive because of the many PCE-collectors and because it used to be very expensive even when it was launched, similar to the HiSaturn Navi. It is actually cheaper nowadays than it was at launch... mint LT's go for around $1000 these days, but the launch price was 99'000yen or $1260 in 2013 dollars.
There is rare because they were sold in limited numbers and there's rare because they are older and not many around anymore, like the Epoch Electro Tennis. I was a box fetish. That Denny's FM2 is something I love because the shipping box makes all the difference in the world to me. I had a Nintendo TV-Game 6 that came in the original shipping box. There's also the Shuman TV-Game 6 that replaced the NINTENDO katakana on the top of the console with Shuman (or something like that, it was a cup-o-noodles company). I sold a FM Towns Car Navi set that had the boxed console and 3 or 4 boxed accessory sets. Still the nicest set I've ever seen. My crown was the 64DD full set with the letters from Nintendo talking about the delays and the shipping boxes for the games and newsletters. Still the most complete set I've ever seen. I also sold 20 of the Nintendo Hands Free controllers, new and boxed. A Dreamcast Seaman with serial number 000. A Nintendo Disk-kun stationary set that had white items instead of yellow (still trying to figure that one out). I sold a few systems that had the original store receipt from the 1990s. Really cool to me.
