One the plain I came to Singapore on they had a Nintendo gateway system with 38 games. Surely that must be rare. Never seen one before. The odd thing is that most of the games are 3rd party titles by Capcom. Yakumo
Yes, the pics of the A'can on my site are "borrowed" from that vanilla ice site. If anyone wants to donate some better pics I'd surely appreciate it. Wouldn't the Zemmix also be up there on the rarity list? At least in the top five. NFG, can you get in touch with you friend? I want an A'can system, and will seriously pay some moola to get one.
Hawanja, you make a good point, the Daewoo Zemmix i pretty rare. The Casio My Seal Computer is another rare machine. Both machines would probably be in the top five as well as the A'Can. NFG, I too would like an A'Can if you have access to one. :smt040
Wonder what the A'can Dev Kit looks like??? Now that's gonna be near impossible to find even a picture of one, i suppose. All-in-one PC unit, or an A'can with PC link cable and PC software... what you think?
That is going to be extremely hard to find. I don't really know. Obviously the company was low on funds, so it was pobably a just the board with the chip set and graphics generator hooked up to some device that they could develop on, most likely a computer. More than likely the dev unit does not exist any more. Finding it and a picture would be extremely dificult. :smt011
How about the SuperVision, the bendable GameBoy wannabe? Is it rare at all? I can take some pics if anyone is interested.
Correct me if i am wrong, but wasn't the MSX a line of computers. So the Daewoo Zemmix is similar to CD32, Marty, and GX4000, exept it is not an offical product. Still, it is a rare system.
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned CPS Changer http://assembler.roarvgm.com/CPS_CHANGER/cps_changer.html It's like a Neo Geo for Capcom games...and even rarer.
Yes, The Changer is pretty rare, but i don't know if it would be in the top five. It is, however, in the top ten. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a Changer.
Nice parallel, add the Commodore 64GS to that, which I havnt seen since it came out, its never on ebay uk or 2nd hand stores, seems rare. The 64GS was also only sold in the UK & Denmark. rayer:
The Commodore 64GS is another rare machine, probably in the top ten as well, which i wouldn't mind having. I am a very big Commodore/Amiga fan, which means that the 64GS and CD32 are high up on my list, I still like the computers better though. I have a boxed Amiga 500 (my first computer!), and Amiga 1200, and an Amiga 3000. I had a Super Pet that was in great condition, but my dad sold it! :smt022
I'd say the AdventureVision and Halcyon are top five material, the loopy is not even top 20 and the CPS changer would probably be top 5 as well...Here's my top five, hmm I should compile a list of difficulty to obtain through my own experience. 1)RDI Halcyon 2)Bandai TV Jack-8000 3)A'Can Funtech 4)AdventureVision 5)CPS Changer
I don't think the CPS Changer is as rare as the HiSaturn Navi, I see changers come up fairly often in Japan (relatively speaking).
Adventurevision, i don't think so. And the Halcyon is not a system, it was used in arcade games like Dragon's Lair. The A'can is and the Bandai TV Jack-8000 might be. You are still forgeting the 64DS and the Daewoo Zemmix, and like NFG said the hisaturn navi. NFG, do you have access to an Acan system, because i am interested!
