Well, there's some proof. I'll post the actual console link, once I find it. If I remeber right, they had it under video accessories, and had a description like "mystery box with 68k processor and video jacks" :smt009

Kyuusaku: thanks, I gave up before I found it. The only thing slower than The Wayback Machine, is The Wayback Machine @48K baud. <slug>:Þ

Here's the page links for anybody that cares, I guess the description was better than I remember, so now I feel even more dumberer...

I think I even found the wallwart for it on there, so they must have just had a warehouse full of NIBs.
I swear, the one time I don't buy some weird circuit for $2... :angry and the fact that I'm so miserably broke right now isn't helping me not dwell upon it either... :-(

c'est la vie... has anyone started a "rarest consoles I almost had" forum yet? I know there's one for what people had and lost, but it's always harder when you never actually got to call it your own and molest until your fingers callused. I know my list would be pretty substantial (all puns intended).

    P.S.

Probably means the black Dreamcast--but I do seem to remember reading somthing in the Saturn FAQs when I was doing the region mod... I still want one of those, but I'd just remove the sports logo and use it as my regular DC (I hate white/beige chassis).

There was this ebay auction a while back. It had TONS and TONS of stuff on it and a lot of them rare. The seller was from Hong Kong, and the BIN price was $100,000 US. Some of you may know what I'm talking about if you bumped into that auction. I remember looking at it and saw systems that I'd never seen or heard before.

I most certainly do NOT mean the black Sega Sports Dreamcast. ;)

Before the Dreamcast, Sega of America was considering a Sega Sports Saturn and actually had a small run of units produced. They never shipped to retail.

    Hmm. Production system?

I would say RDI as it was pretty much hand made, and it's so hard to get.
Last one on ebay I got outbid at $1500 and that was in poor condition.

Linger's stuff is the cream of the crop, but always way out of my budget.

Seriously, who has six hundred bucks to blow on an Xbox? So what if it's a limited edition and only 2 1/2 were ever made, that's like half my rent.

    Damn, I hate being poor.

Heh, ya I replied to the comment before I aknowledged who made it. :) So, what's different about it? I assume it's more than just an emblem.
