I like donations Yeah you can still download it in the old MPEG 4 format but the DVD versions will be available 2 weeks before the downloads as well as looking much better and from the next episoide will include bonus footage. Yakumo
Just a quick post to let you guys know that Retro Core Volume 11 is now available for download Via FTP. THe URL downloads should be avaiable sometime this week once the Internet Archive make some space for me Yakumo
Yakumo: I see you no longer have the torrent option from Kedora. If you need somewhere to host the torrent, I can lend you some space on my website, I think. It would be the first torrent I make, ever, so I'd need some help setting it up, but if I can help you, let me know.
skimmed through a little bit and i must say i never expected a ps1 to be so durable at taking abuse, were people actually starring at you when you were doing it?
Yeah, the PSX is a right tough little bugger case wise. Just a shame it had crap lasers. When I made that video there was nobody around in the carpark where I ran over it so no worries That would be great if you could set up a torrent for Retro Core but unfortunately I know nothing about setting them up so I wouldn't be able to help Yakumo
finally had time to play DVD edition on my setup... On PDP it looks bloody fabulous mate. Sure it's bit stretched since the screen being 16:9 ratio but it doesn't really that bad and the PQ is several steps above the normal d/l version. And for the borders sure there were few but I hardly noticed anyway... I'd recommend anyone to get DVD version if you can afford...
Thanks for your nice PR there dj898 just a quick notice to let you know that Retro Core Volume 11 is now available from http://www.archive.org/ Just type Retro Core in to the search box under Moving Pictures. You can also find all the other Retro Cores there. Download speeds from http://www.archive.org/ will be much faster than my FTP. URL and FTP downloads are available from http://www.archive.org/ Yakumo
Just finished retro core 11, damn good work there mate, really enjoyed seeing the playstation kicked around, but one question why does it repeat that whole bit twice. It ends with ??? and then starts over again.
I was going to ask the same that Silverbolt asked, actually. Ah, poor lad, that PSX. But he refused to go, and held on to life until the last instant. Anyway, I was listening to Kotoko before watching Retro Core 11, so it was a good surprise to listen to her "shooting star" in the episode. Superb work, as always.
Love how ya make fun of Kirby Edit: Man, you arent very good at Samba lol. Oh yea, and i think you need to see a doctor, stop talking to a playstation....
Hehehe, yep that PSX got a right good beating. No idea why it repeats though. Must be a fault with the encoding order. The DVD version isn't like that. Actually I'm a God on Samba De Amigo but when I do Retro Core the sound is 1 second behind the image due to the video capture I use. So while the image I'm watching is in real time, the audio is coming from the PC which is 1 second later. This is due to me making custom video cables but not bothering with the audio. Playing any other game isn't a problem but games that relay on the audio for timing such as music games are a pain in the arse. Yakumo
Hmmmm my opinion is as follows The PSX deserved a viking burial, instead of a drowning death. And i still think it does deserve a viking death, and the burial theme should be one of Manowars viking inspired songs(perhaps Swords In The Wind From the album Warriors Of The World) .But the show is above 7 out of 10 this time because your curses makes me laugh hard . And yes i am honest, the show this time was an ok show. And you are always better than the shite show called Gamezone TV on DK4 (a TV channel in DK) and your quality of the show is still like Troldspejlet on DR1 every monday, so "Electra Ainus" is going to be kicked again to pieces by you truly, Yakumo-san . And i already looking forward to watch the next episode. And you got a lovely humour that makes me laugh

To celebrate 1 year of Retro Core I'll be making 3 specials ! You already know that 2 of them are coming late September and early October which will be the Tokyo Game Show 2005 and Akihabara specials but what you don't know is that there will be one more special coming on September 10th along with Retro Core Volume : 12. What could that third special be? Hmm, well let's just say that the Sega Saturn Shooting Special was extremely popular with over 500 downloads from my FTP, God only knows how many downloads via Bit Torrent and an unbelievable 1,697 downloads from http://www.archive.org/ so that may give you some sort of idea. Needless to say it will be available for download and nice high resolution DVD. Yakumo
