Cool :) I will review it later :)

I don´t think I have said any kind of review of the new intro music , but I think we both like many kinds of the same "80´s synthpop like music". And I really like the new intro, and I love the music part :)

A bloody marvelous piece of work, I must say , a great show, and great reviews :) some very tiny complaints, I must say, your RTC dvd commercial, is unreadable when you have that white background, with the yellow text in it. and about Rage of the Dragons, it is not a bloody footie game you are reviewing, it is a beatemup ;-) (joke)

The Street Fighter marathon was great :)

The zero/alpha parts of the series are prequels, and Nash/Charlie is the friend of guile, you read about in the manual of SF2, that tells, that M Bison killed him, and if I remember right Sodom, is also from Final Fight.

So I must say, it is one of your finer shows :):thumbsup:

Ah, I'll change the Retro Core DVD add in volume 22 anyway. Looks fine on the DVD versions :)

Ah, I see. now I know. Thanks for that. Always wondered why they look younger.

  Did you notice that the encoding bitrate was higher?

actually my wife probably looks better now. Chisato Mortiaka is starting to look old. Still, there's always 100's of shots from her younger days plastered all over the Japanese net.

    Finished watching it.

Liked it. The part 1 and Part 2 titles repeat themselves, and there's a sudden skip from the Le Mans review to the Street Fighter special, but nothing too bad.

The selection of games is awesome as usual. Lots of interesting stuff. I want that Le Mans game, and I don't even like driving. Why? I have no idea.

Stunt Trax, Street Fighter, and some other stuff brought a lot of memories back.

Also, the thing about TecToy 8 bit originals was awesome.

Good work. Great show as always, Yakumo-Sama.

    Downloading it right now.

Motor Toon GP 2... Haven't played it since 1997 :crying: . It's interesting that Polyphony Digital started developing Gran Turismo while finishing this fun cartoon racing game (I think it was the first game produced by Kazunori Yamauchi). There's even a mode called Motor Toon R, which lets you race in a modified version of Toon Island II track in a F1 or Stock car style cars. This mode handles more realistically than the normal game itself.

I wish it could be easier to find both japanese games (Motor Toon GP and Motor Toon GP 2), since they only released the 2 in USA (as Motor Toon Grand Prix).

As for the Tectoy games, Virtua Fighter Animation is just like many of the TecToy late releases: a GameGear conversion. Street Fighter 2 in other hand is a port of the MegaDrive game.

Motor Toon GP 2 while fun is seriously bugged. One thing that really bugged me was the way you can be shot of the track with no warning what so ever.

Watched it today on my ipod today since there wasnt anything to do in class, must say a very good show, i enjoyed the stf piece even though it went through each quickly as it really pointed out the

strengths to each one. The video i noticed was much better quality as well. Plus your review of last bronx clearfied for me what the 2nd disc was for( i got it as part of an ebay auction but never could

figure out what they were talking about. Im curious though, on that idol game, does the game require an mpeg card to look that clean, or is the codec software on saturn? By the way, did you ever try the

    24hr mode on le mans?

Thank you ! I released volume 20 witha much higher bit rate than normal which resulted in the better quality. It also results in a larger files size :( I'm thinking which would be better, higher resolution with lower bit rate or standard resolution (same as now) with the higher bit rate. Either way the files will be between 500 to 700 meg.

The version you saw is running with the MPEG card. It really does look great running on the Saturn but for some reason even the DVD version of the show doesn't due the FMV justice. You can still get the same image quality without the MPEG cartridge but the image is about half the size running at 15fps unlike the MPEG 29.9fps at ful screen.

I tried it once but only got as far as 4 hours

Yakumo-sama I have an idea, you should think of doing with the download version, since you talked about either giving better bitrate, or better resolution, or viceversa etc.

But what about, you make the DVD version first, and then you rip the DVD version to an XVID or DIVX version of the DVD slim version. And then you upload it to the archive, since a 650 MB or a 700 MB dvd rip of a movie, or show (what ever ) from many "groups" around the internet are quite good, both in resolution, then the DVD folks will have something to say "nah nah you ain´t getting the DVD version :p " but at least the dloaders, are getting a good DVD rip version :)

I do rip the download version from DVD but I don't see the point of letting people who download it have really nice picture quality for free when there are people who pay for the DVD. It's not really fair on the people buying the show or me really since the cash I get from the DVDs goes in to the show.

a very good show, I must say :) have you been practictioning your English lately ? since I think your language has been improved alot, since some of your other shows, there you sometimes almost stumpled in your old language, because I know you think in Japananese and so forth (I have told you before, you speak Japanese, you eat Japanese, well you have become a Japanese person in some ways). Anyway back to the show, yes I have registred the better resolution :) and the smaller filesize :)

Well, if I had a Dreamcast (well if I could afford on with my economy) then I would play Evolution 2, since I think I have fallen in love with the music, it reminded me so much of good old Japanese RPG music used to be, and well the subtitles worked wonders too :)

Anyway, a very fine show :) the only thing I wondered about, was while you played the mobil games, sometimes your voice faded out.

Anyway heck I loved the show

Even the commercials this time anyway :) and I saw the DVD retro core commercial was very readable :)

Your show was good, without any flaws, or mistakes in any way.

Yakumo-sama: It was a great show :) and I recomend others watching it :)

Out Of This World/Another World, was abandonware, untill recently, where it became ESA protected like many other very lovely old games, and if Silverbolt reads it, I will gladly put a new abandonware link into his old pc game link too :)

And I have a love to the music in FF1, I don´t know, but that game has found a home in my heart. So every time I hear a melody from that game, I get a little kick out of it. (the FF3 commercial)

An extra edit: puzzle bubble, has at least spawned three clones of that game, one is called Dynomyte, and is made by Popcap Games, Frozen Bubble (in two versions for windows) where that game is an open source clone. And then another one I don´t seem to remember the name of, but I think Gamehouse has made that clone and also the crapversion called SNOOD .

Yakumo, as long you don´t begin have a section, where it is called "how to fight in live roleplaying games" or "how to draw manga" (not that any of them are wrong), but the thing is, why am I mentioning those things ? well Jacob Stegelman (the host of Troldspejlet I have mentioned alot of times by now anyway).

He should stay to his videogames, review books and films , and not wander off in a way like that. But well Yakumo: as long you don´t wander away too much from the videogames, then: Make My Retro Core ;-) :)

I got the inspiration for that sentence from some American Marvel fans said in their letters, to the comics in USA, where they said Make My Marvel (sorry I just had to explain it).

    Anyway

Yakumo-sama: Make My Retro Core :icon_bigg
