SNES CD Goodies

    i was sure this controller wasn't for the machine , it just didn't fit! :-D

    AFAIK CDI can UTILIZE MPEG streams, but it doesn't have to, and most CDI games required the MPEG card anyway because the capabilities of the system were far too small.

    There was also a CD-i video format, it seems - if you search eBay you'll find a few movies and music videos on CD-i. These used that similar format to VCD.

    I was wondering... shouldn't this site have some FAQs about obscure ;-) game machines or canned project like the snes cd?

    It would be a worty addiction for the community... and would reassume the longest topic so that even the occasional readers can give them an appropriate reading.

    if someone is interested (yakumo?, assembler) i guess we should start little by little. If none is interested in the snes CD add-on i could start writing about it, or (and it would be better) if any of the old and expert posters want to do it i'll gladly leave them do.
