Sourcing a Nintendo multi out socket?

Are you not selling just the screw mounted product yet then??..

 

Like I said in the other thread we only have the SNES socket style since these parts do cost a bit to make unless there is a large order made, so since most people in this thread wanted the SNES Style that we are selling we haven't ordered any of the other sockets. If there are atleast 10 people interested in these other sockets we don't see a need to order a batch just to sit on it till someone else turns up to buy some. Whoever has interest in these sockets make it known here so we know how to proceed with them.

 

I think he may have meant the panel mount version of the SNES connector, but put the picture of the Wii one instead (although I may be wrong)

 

Hey guys, just want to chime in that Helder had to order the 3D-prints out of his pocket ahead of time and they are not cheap. So please understand why we can't just order hundreds of these without knowing how many people will actually come through. This entire project is self-funded. All the prototypes shown earlier are part of our feasibility research, not all of them will be popular or practical for everyone. Consequently, we had to set priority on which to roll out first.

 

I would prolly order 10 panel mount snes sockets just for me and my customers...

 

Game Informer or Nintendo Power? My Game informer magazine just got canceled, and i got Nintendo Power. Should i re-new my old subscription or get Nintendo Power alone?

 

I'd like to put in an order for one of these. But I'm not sure how. Do I just send Helder an email or PM or something?

Yeah i should of been more clear, i was indeed referring to the panel mount SNES connector version?? Will you be selling that part as ill defo want 2 or 3

 

WTF Nintendo Power isn't even published any more.

 

Since you and game.tech.us want a fair amount I will put in an order for some but it might be 2 weeks but likely less before I get them in.

 

Cool, any ideas on the cost?. I take it it wont be as much as the other product (as there not as much plastic)

 

It will be quite less than the other but final price will be posted once I know what I will be charged for the batch so likely tomorrow I will post it here.

 

Do we have any control over the colour at all?

 

The color of the raw material used is white. To get it other color will require pigment dyeing. For more information check out Make:'s article. There are also some YouTube video on this subject.

It looks like maybe Neutral 1 #526 or Neutral 2 #186 might be a good match. Thats if my monitor colors are calibrated well.

 

Seem like Neutral #459 match better with my particular toploader. It's going to be different for everyone since most likely all the toploaders are discolored to varying degree.

 

To satisfy my own curiosity, I drove to my local craft store and purchase some Rits for experimentation. I'll take one for the team. Wish me luck...
