that is still a great selection of games (the games themselves are nothing special, but the quantity is).

about me picking up games for members, I don't have any problems doing so. the thing is I will charge 11 pounds for each game plus shipping. broken down, that's not much comission for me, and I preffer if I am requested more than a single game at a time. this is for site members only, and apart from a select few games that are quite alot rarer, the price is standard (don't expect super mario world, or chinese fighting games - they are impossible to find and collector's items locally too).

the problem with Argentina is -
1.prices tend to be stupid. so the few places that still deal with this stuff charge alot. not because they are collectible, but because they are still bought to be played by the general populace.
that means, good games, games based on popular franchises (pokemon etc.), multicarts, and games that where just imported, command more than you'd expect, to varying degrees. whatsmore, alot of trecking is involved as shops are very spaced out. just like arcades, videoogames shops have shrunk and dissappeared all over the place. all you get now are small shops that do copied xbox 360 and ps2 games.

    2. places that sell pirate games are way fewer than they where some 2 years ago. authorities cracked down on pirates and confiscated tons of games over the past few years. it's quite weird, because they used to be quite prevalent, and now they're not at all. and the 'good stuff' is even harder to obtain, save for maybe a few titles. I preffer to buy second hand because that's where the 'good stuff' is. problem is there isn't much being sold, what is either goes for more money than is reasonable, or is picked off by others, some of which are collectors, and are also having to resort to scavanging to pick up good md and fami pirates. I'm really suprised by how deteriorated things have gotten.

    3. to withdraw money from a paypal account is a headache, and after paypal has taken it's share, xoom (they provide cash pickup - something paypal does not. we can't even transfer funds to a bank account with paypal) has taken it's share (and given you shit exchange rates), you're left with between 8% and 12% less money than was sent. which is why I preffer it if more than one game is asked for.

all this said and done, I enjoy the undertakings of finding this stuff. and though the comission is low, it's enough too cover part of my studies, which is a big deal. which is why I will be selling on ebay soon hopefully.

stuff I can probably pick up (cart only): Top Fighter 2000, DBZ Final Bout, Megaman X3, Super Mario Bros etc.

Wow that's pretty cool. It appears to be original. Any chances of a clip of gameplay too? Can't really judge at all if it's a hack of anything without actually seeing ingame too ;)
I guess you probably won't be selling this one anytime soon, but videos suffice for now, especially gameplay :p

there you go, short and crusty.
I'll have to upload better ones soon.

as I said in the selling thread, I might be up for a decent trade, because if I place a monetary value on it I'd feel a bit uneasy. I'd have to throw it on ebay and just let the bidders (if any bid, lol) decide :/
atleast we have something cool too talk about here! lol.

edit: can't see shit in that vid. basically wario picks up a gun, shoots a bad guy, drops it and goesto pick up a key.

this is the demo of it. another demonstration shows Wario onn a small boat with a large boss character (that's what it appears to be) - a vulture or ugly bird.

edit2: ERM.... I just googled Andy Ingram Sega... wtf?
    Matt Furniss?
    S.Wollingworth??

what the fuck is going on here?! lol. pirate games: madness.

Bad news mate, that Wario game is 100% not original at all. It is in fact a hack of a British developed game called ......... Bubble 'n' Stixs or something. I really can't remember. But I do know it's not an original at all.

Can any Mega Drive nut (JP I'm looking at you) fill us in on the games real name?

I think you're confused here - this looks absolutely nothing like Bubba 'N' Stix

It does look familiar though -- I'm racking my brain.

EDIT - I just realized you might have meant Bubble And Squeak, but I don't think that's it either (although the ship from the intro video does look quite similar to the one used in that game.)

I just bought a 7 in 1 game boy cart. This are the games it contains:

    1.-Rampage World Tour
    2.-Roadsters'98
    3.-Super Breakout
    4.-TNMT 3 Radical Rescue
5.-Tiny Toon Adventures: Montana's Movie Madness
    6.-Mario Land
    7.-Warrior

I have a friend who had a pirate game boy cart that had a reset button where the gameboy logo is supposed to be, are they common???

That Wario MD game is a hack of Puggsy, and from the look just a swap of the main character sprite - wario even walks in the same silly wobbly style.

hahaha. Puggsy.. figures. and on that note (I logged on to let all interested parties know) - I can get this game for whoever wants it - seems to be a newer hack, and there's a couple of places that have it.

You wouldn't, by chance, have the opportunity of getting the famed Super Mario World for NES/Famicom?

ah that one is really, really elusive. as is Mario 8, and some of the older games (Kart Fighters etc.) - I have a few things with respect to famicom pirates but the good stuff is really hard to come by.

for instance, I have 4 Somari games - 2 are newer and the carts are cheap looking - and 2 older ones - heavier carts, great bizzaro label art, though one is sun faded.
so it's not so interesting to me the newer chinese famicom pirates.

I have some weird stuff, like DJ Boy (not a port but you do fight on rollerskates), and stuff like that. I'll dig deep and see what cool stuff I can post.

They arn't too common, but thats because its not needed. In most cases you don't need to hard reset or bank switch that way for pirate carts anymore.

I have a Pirate Rockman GB cart with every single rockman game on it (I think) including Rockman pirate originals and it doesn't need a reset at all. In fact all my GB pirates never needed a hard switch to do anything.

I have loads of GB Multi-carts and only one of them has a re-set switch. I know exactly what you mean - on the back of the cart in the oval "dip" bit. Little button to re-set and switch to the next game. I have that on a 20-in-1 cart. All the other carts merely have a menu to select the games from on booting.
