nice! even though I don't much care for teh boobies in videogames, I find the subversive and playful nature of these pirate carts entertaining.

what the hell is that sfc cart? intruiging.

    cool stuff!

one snes/sfc multicart I can pick up new in box is a six-in-1 with caravan shooting collection (4 games) ms.pacman and that sonic hack (I think it's a hack of speedy gonzales). not worth it, but if I come across a fairly priced one I'll pick it up.

Are there any original SFC pirate games? I don't think I've ever seen any apart from the Teken one that won't even run on emulators.

I think that DSP card is for a backup unit, so it can play games that used the DSP chip, and not a multigame collection. Or maybe it does have other stuff on it, but still must be used through a backup unit. Got a picture of the PCB?

edit: oops, I missed the link posted above

    Me too :)
I confirm owning it myself, this DSP cart let you play your DSP enhanced SFc games on your backup system, like Pro Fighter X,Wild Card,etc..you couldn't run Super Mario Kart or other games of that kind without it!

from the top of my head... mmmh.. there's a KOF '97 out there - only ever saw a picture of the title screen though. oh yeah there's also a Pokemon game, looks quite impressive actually - there's a youtube vid of it. I've seen it very few times in person. could be a hack though and I'd be non the wiser.

weird... there seems to be 2 LOTR games - Two Towers and one 'based' on one of the other books. I must say, the backrounds in this game are really nice, as are character models. I think the game is based around Chinese Fighter III but it's smoother for sure.

I have about 14 Famicom Multi Carts. Included on them are various games such as Street Fighter (many versions), Mortal Kombat (with the super man music at the title screen) and many more. One of the carts is even full of games which have the main character changed to mario.

Here are some Chinese originals I got from a shopping center in China. I have no idea if these games have been dumped, but there are like 16 or more games in that lineup.

PS: Sorry for the crappy phone cam photos. Click to view larger size.

They are GB/GBC games. They also have clone consoles available, but why bother when you can do it on a real GB/GBC.

I used to love playing DJ Boy. They had it at the local swimming pool back in the day and the zany boss characters almost got the game banned by my primary school teacher.

    Those were the days :)

yeah the bosses are engraved onto my brain. and the intermission where DJ Boy break dances was awesome.

that FFVII pirate for famicom is just stunning. when pirates go all out they do mad stuff. it's likee they're fans of the material themselves or are sincerely enthusiastic about their projets.

that's when you compare them with the utter trash some pirates do- like hack the title screen and leave the game intact- just so they can call it something else. horrible.

picked up Samurai Spirits for Famicom today. not a good game, but the intro is actually very nice! and the character models and their moves aree faithful to the original.
