wow great stuff thanks! there's the spin attack. I say for a pirate that's pretty damn good. was never going to seriously compete with the SNES/SFC version.
so damn ironic that I have it but can't play it.

I don't understand why this is so rare though. there's a bunch of pirates that are getting rare these days whilst others aren't.

That looks fantastic! I remember all the bunk about only the SNES being able to handle something like Mario World. Of course, a because of a few mode7 tricks that is true, but for 99% of the game that is a huge lie. Optimised code would be even better no doubt. Astonding!

I've never seen a Mario hack that can handle additional power ups. If you look at that video, and he'll get a mushroom, he'll grow, but if he tries to pick up another one, he can't. He doesn't even get extra points.

A small detail considering it looks pretty much like the SNES original though.

I want a lot of what's on that site, most of it for it's WTF factor... Titanic movie game for Famicom? I mean... seriously? I'd love to play Minish Cap too, just to see. Obviously the LttP one as well.

Well, it seems to me, that if the prirates. Or a homebrewer in the future wanted to make a complete Supermario World clone on the MD. He should perhaps be programming the game with the use of the 6 buttoned MD pad in mind. And if he wanted better sound, maybe he should use the 32X to enhance the sound. But since the NES source of Super Mario 1. Is literally dis assembled, commented and hacked by now (and can be downloaded from different places on the net)
. Then I would love to see a Giana Sisters on the NES either using the SM1 source code, or their own code. Such a game I would love to play :) after all Giana Sisters became quite famous. For its own music, and not just being a ripoff of mario. Even though I do remember a Mario hack of Giana Sisters on the C64. So maybe it is possible to use the SM1 source code to make a Giana Sisters game, and have the music from Giana sisters in it too ?

Mario does get the cape in SMW64! and the Mario is animated really well. I have seen some shite stuff with regards to pirates so when I see something like this I'm amazed.

I found that most of the best stuff comes from Original Software. All the pirate stuff usually gets less work/quality since its all illigal to begin with anyways.

Well, it makes sence. Making a "Knights of Valour" like clone for some old console isn't illigal, but making a final fight hack is.

Thanks Bramsworth - I actually found it before you posted that though. It's not that bad actually. Plays out like a decent minish cap but with turn based battles, also battles are random occurances while on the world map. It's not too bad though. If it were in english I'd probably play it all the way through.

I got Ghost Hunter today!! I have a few of those reserved so I'll be adding them to the selling thread. cart only. it's basically a copy of Pang. plays well enough and I like the music too.

I also suprisingly was able to find a couple of boxed Squirrel Kings - come with really nice insert in japanese. game is fun!! and the music is good too.
(found 3 - 1 is Wheela's, so that leaves 2. they'll be in the selling thread soon too).
    happy about that find.

also got a bunch of unlicenced famicom games lately. will go into that shortly.

need to take some pics of this stuff...
