wow, that would be sweet if it was real. But due to him avoidance to testing it I would say its a sham. Maybe someone here on the boards will win it and can tell us if its for real. I would buy it but I just bought some saturn imports so I will be broke for a bit ( as far as gaming money goes) Good find man!:D

If I had to guess I would say that it is a copy of Zelda 2. That way at least he can claim maybe they were going to alter it or something if the buyer gets mad at him. Little bit of insurance lol. H also could have just pulled the label off and put that sticker on there. Only thing hard about that is getting all the residue off the case from the label of the old game. That would take quite a bit or rubbing alchol and q-tips.

If find it rather strange that a prototype game that no one ever heard about and that was developed by nintendo of japan (of course) got a name in english... what about you?

...they even made an american ntsc-us Beta Cartrige... Erm, wait, Aren't those cartrige made by Nintendo of America after completion of the game for translation and relocation purposes ...and this way after the game was launched in japan?

I smell something... it's... (snif sniff!) BOOOLLLSHEEET.

Was there a Zelda III planned for the NES? You think we'd have heard about that, Zelda being such a high profile game and all.

Eh, idiots and their money are soon parted. I would love to see their faces when it is a ROM hack of a chip and dale game.

I once had a copy of Super Mario World 8 on the Famicom. It was actually a hack of DonDokoDon. Heh, gotta love those crazy Russians. ^_^

Why is the guy bidding over a 100 bucks on it? Has anyone tried to contact him?

  17. My favorite was Super Mario 14: Grand-Dad: a hack of The Flintstones with Fred's head replaced by Mario's from SMB3. :smt043

personally I don't see his picture as any kind off proof.. I've seen Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World and Street Fighter 2 on the NES all made by HK pirates.. and the fact is that it's not really hard making your own cart.. it's actually pretty easy making a cart displaying some images on the NES.. so I'm kind of sceptical..

    Super Happy HK FUN!

I have a cart of Super Mario World for Famicom - the notably worst parts are the physics and sound, in that order. Really it's a shame too because the physics are what make it Mario, not the sprites.
