This is a more or less direct translation: you can launch an integrity test and see if the write operation was successful by using "R" right after the save operation is carried on.

Thanks Gemini. Not sure it works but that does seem to be what's supposed to happen. :)

Not exactly. But it will come w/ a code to download all of the DLC. It will cost the same as the DL version with the DLC. You can conversely buy the game only (no DLC) download version for 2000 yen.

I see. Thanks for the help.

My Vita has a portuguese account because of the free games that came in the pack, so no japanese DLC codes for me.

Hoping the Greatest Hits version, in the west, has the complete game on cart.

Well, well, well... we meet again my lovely translators :)
Can anyone give me an idea of what's going on? Just a general idea, don't need word for word!

    Thanks! :D

    ・初代タウンズ用です。 専用スロットに挿すSCSIボードです。 初代機を使われてる方必須アイテム!
     動作確認してからしばらく保管していたものです、 今回再取り付け確認まではしてません

    ・初代タウンズ用です。

This is for the Towns first version.

     専用スロットに挿すSCSIボードです。

It's a SCSI board for the special slot.

    初代機を使われてる方必須 アイテム!

It's an indispensable item for the people who use the first version (transl: of the Towns )

     動作確認してからしばらく保管していたものです、

It's a item that I stored a while after having checked it was working .

     今回再取り付け確認まではしてません

I didn't go to install/check it again this time.

Alternatively, google translate is not so far away from a real translation :) :
"Is the first generation for Towns. It is a SCSI board to refer to a dedicated slot. Who required item that is used as the first machine!
It is a thing that has been stored for a while after operation check, it does not have until this time re-installation check"

カラカラ - I've seen this katakana quite a lot recently when looking through "junk" items on Yahoo Auctions. I guess it means jingle or something to do with noise, but the best Google seems to offer as a translation is the Roman emperor Caracalla.

karakara has about 4 different meanings (according to Kenkyusha): 1) bone-dry, parched, dried up, 2) a rattle, a clatter, 3) roar with laughter, loud laughter 4) a crested caracara, a type of bird. Oh, and yeah, Marcus Aurelius Antonius Caracalla (188-217).

    So you are right.

Thanks, so in this case chances are it means there's something loose rattling inside the console.

Please identify which characters in Japanese are used in the menu here, hiragana, katakana, or kanji? I couldn't identify them myself, as you see there's english description like Story and Arcade but what does it say on the actual option? It appears to use the same set of characters throughout the menus in the game.

Yeah it is. I know which options are which, but when it comes to the story dialogue I want to be able to get the idea of what they are saying. Not sure which character set it uses though...
