I can tell Dion loves all of you very much. Yakumo made it very clear and to the point. If you have these unreleased games and want to talk about them some simple proof is needed. There are so many prototypes speculated to exist and we don't need people showing up acting as though they have them and never actually contributing anything. It doesn't matter even if you do have such prototypes, if you aren't going to share information or details (that aren't already known) then we don't want to hear unsubstantiated claims that you have them.

The Neo-Geo was a neat system. And to be perfectly honest I'd never heard of "NeoGeoFreak" until this past month I guess. So however important you think NGF is I just want you to know I had no fucking idea NGF existed or what it was. And that goes for you too, no idea who you were. If you want to actually share information on unreleased games that is great. Video and screenshots would be appreciated. If you cannot or will not share that, then we do not care if you do or do not have these games. Maybe some of those you love at NG.com care to prove you don't have the games but here we simply don't give a shit. So you can share or be ignored.

I can't go into much detail, but NightmareTony listed a developers cart and the manual for I believe $2500 or more.

Nobody wanted the dev cart, just the manual, which made up the high price.

I spent a lot of time getting to know Tony and listening to what he had to say.

To get the manual out in the wild while sacrificing his profit was all on me. It took extensive negotiations and trust to get to the goal of releasing it to the public.

Tony is a great guy and told me he would prepare a PDF of the manual and allow me to release it to the public for free.

I uploaded and released it with his permission.

Thats the story - if what Dion says sums it up, then so be it.

I was the one who made it happen - Tony had the manual.

Just like purchasing a prototype - the other person has it, I have to obtain it.

Edit - On and re Vegas, it does stage some decent boxing on occasion, although the times I've been for a fight I get the hell out asap, no staying for a break because it is the arsehole of the world in so many ways.

 

Dude, I'll be honest, this is the first time I've heard of this. Can you PM me or post here what you know, including the names of those involved and how it went down? (This isn't directed as an "I don't trust you, I need proof" statement, I just want to know what happened)

 

Don't want to snipe, but out of my own curiosity (I was away from ng.com for the first half of 2011) I think I found the thread.

 

I'm pretty much a lurker and I've seen enough of Dion's and Chris's posts to make my own judgement but in reality they lost their ability to sell their shit years ago.

Sorry for the short 1st post but I just remembered seeing a lot of concrete proof posted about them and decided then and there they weren't worth the time of my pleasure or my money.

 

I think I'll get a NeoGeo CD if I ever decide get SNK hardware. Just to be sure.
