What I consider to be a holy grail... That would prolly be a playable beta of San Andreas. Or the tech demo's / E3 demo's from Bioshock (1 2 and Infinite)
Were the Original Halo for Xbox Original (Chinese Version) quite rare. They were developed but not sold?
Yeah, all the dumped ones are. And probably all the undumped shop kiosk demos. I'm most interested in an actual early prototype, like one used at any the "events" the game had a kiosk in.
I would like to find prototypes of metal slug 1&2 aes or mvs for neo-geo but then again I don't know if they ever made prototype carts for these games
Ignoring my previous - and rather unrealistic - wish list, right now I'm curious to know more about exactly what was in the last build of BioHazard 2 before development was restarted, as Team I.G.A.S. are hinting that Capcom may have been far enough into production that they can find clues to a possible third scenario based on one of the side characters, perhaps as a precursor to the various bonus features in the final retail version. Also, with so much from Sonic Xtreme out there (thanks again to everybody involved with this), it would be great if Chris Coffin allowed playable code of her boss level engine technology or anything that evolved from this to be released, such as the variation seen in a handful of emulated screenshots that shows a polygonal Sonic rather than the usual sprite-based model. Ofer Alon's stages for the PC are definitely up there as my holy grails, too... Due to these being in the hands of private collectors, I'm hoping we'll eventually get to play the incomplete Saturn conversion of Destruction Derby 2 and the finished Adidas Power Soccer as well, plus a mysterious early prototype of Sega Touring Car that has been described to me by its owner as lacking texture mapping on the vehicles, meaning this surely came to exist before even the E3 or TGS '97 preview copies seen in magazines. Finally for now, keeping with the subject of E3, it would be great if the show build of Sonic R from '97 sufaced, not to mention anything of Burning Rangers with the preliminary HUD design and working co-operative mode. As time passes, I fear the likeliness of the latter emerging will be as slim as anything else from Sega of Japan, that video footage of Shenmue running on the Saturn already exceeding my limited expectations!
The one where Mario and Luigi were running around on a bare stage? I feel like the Super Mario 64 co-op mod would satiate that. It's actually a lot of fun and easily played locally.
I believe so, but not on the same screen as the little demo Miyamoto had in his possession was. The SM64 mod allows player 1 to be Mario and player 2 to be Luigi, playing simultaneously on the same levels/screen. That would be more in line, but I won't derail this topic anymore. Suffice it to say, I would do horrible things for an early SM64 build.
