are you running them from disc or using ISOs?

Besides playing games that are extremely expensive I don't have much use for SSF now (especially with my computer behaving strangely) But I'll try that when I have a chance.

I see, there's nothing Prohibitivly expensive on Saturn keeping me from buying them, Besides RS. But Megaman 8 is a bitch to find and crazy expensive when I do find it and the import is even more of a bitch to locate.

I think the "internet's" love of the Dreamcast over the Saturn as you put it has to do with the regional and language barriers as much as anything. I don't speak or read Japanese but if I did I bet I could find plenty more love out there for the Saturn. I speak English though and like you live in a region where the Saturn had a Screwed launch, Worthless advertising, Localization policies that kept it on life support only, and finally a "Take it out back and shoot it" attitude from the very people trying to sell it. Only natural there is not so much love here.

The More I play Nights the more I love Saturn and that was a game everyone could play. I hope it's HD remake does it justice, the PS2 version is just o BLEH.

Oh also it seems Rockman 8 isn't that impossible to find 5-6 copies pop up on E-Bay all the time. I might bite the Bullit and grab it soon.

What's bad about the PS2 version? I've never played it, I'm just curious. A weird but handy feature about the US version of Nights: you can play it on either a US or Japanese Saturn. I use my Japanese Saturn almost exclusively now, since swap-tricking my US Saturn has fucked up the drive.

The Controls are way off. Even before I had it on Saturn something just didn't seem right playing it.

But there are some interesting things about the PS2 version and here pictures speak better than words

adding my opinion =D I own both machines had 3 Dreamcast at one stage just have one now >< will get another soon enough my vote goes to Dreamcast ! both systems have amazing game libraries i wish the Dreamcast could play Saturn games keeps on dreaming ....................... Both have incredible 2D games but i feel that in 3D the Dreamcast generally wipes the floor with the Saturn Just look at Soul Calibur on VGA still looks quite amazing ! i like Sega games it sucks they called it quits on the Saturn early outside Japan and what sucks even more imo is they called it quits early on Dreamcast when there is still high intrest 8 years after Segas last official game as their is homebrew and indepent releases still being made today >,< rant over =P

Japan had some lame and rather unimpressive launch titles for Dreamcast (except Sonic Adventure), same with the Saturn (except for Virtua Fighter). Virtua Racing, Power Stone and Soul Calibur weren't launch titles for either system, maybe in the West? I don't know.

Soul Calibur was definitely a launch title in the West. Saturn Daytona was, gameplay wise, the best version of Daytona until the XBLA/PSN port. Anyone who says it's terrible probably just either parrots an uninformed opinion in typical Internet fashion or just looks at the graphics.

I LOVE Saturn daytona Choppy framerate and ass graphics aside. But best playing is up for debate. Dreamcast Daytona wasn't too shabby and Champion Circuit Edition was smoother with Analog support ignoring the butt rock and inferior remixed music.

CCE is just so incredibly boring to drive. Doesn't feel at all like the arcade Daytona.

Despite my username and avatar being of a Saturn game, I honestly like the Saturn and Dreamcast about the same. You could argue that neither system had the amount of games that the competition had, but I always found Sega games to be so memorable and they hold up so well over time, so I'd always take a few classics over a larger collection of mostly forgettable games. I will always be a Sega fan, though, but I do like games on just about every system out there. I just liked Saturn and Dreamcast the most because of all of the arcade games that graced them, such as shooters and fighters.
