You maybe surprised, Viletim (on the smspower boards) sells quite a few of the Game Gear TV out boards and Master System FM boards (he may do others, not sure). I have bought 3 GG boards and 2 FM boards from him.

It won't be "make me a Millionaire" stuff, I guess more for the fun. If that interests you?

I will price up a small run of 5 prototypes.

If people will preorder them in advance, I will get them built. Once thats done, I can judge interest and do a larger order if required.

    Nothing advanced, but, aside from:
Fixing my psX RGB cable to actually tell the telly to take input on RGB...

I also made a ghetto battery replacement on my DC so I don't have to set the time on every start kkthx!
(soldered on a couple wires and taped around the battery, tucked it away)
A more neat solution will have to be for another day.

I'd be interested, but it would be a "later" thing, since I've JUST ordered a S-video cable with the intent of fixing my current N64 S-video cable. :\

On the topic of RGB for PAL N64's, I found THIS. I may not read le French, but is this a component that you solder into your PAL N64 to give it RGB capability?

As to repairs, the replacement ML2032 battery arrived today, so I was able to confirm that the battery holder and ML2032 Dreamcast battery mod was a success :D

That is an amp for consoles you can already easily RGB mod.

its also a complete rip off and PAL N64's that are RGB moddable (the French ones) already have the amp built in from nintendo anyway.

In short, do not buy that for any reason.

Oh OK, thanks. I'll bet the French model are expensive since they're the only RGB moddable ones!

Yeah probably not worth that much effort. I doubt you'd miss PAL games.

I've checked eBay, and they actually don't seem that expensive. As to missing PAL games, I've got quite a few boxed games, so I would miss them :D

    I do say so! :p

Are all NUS-001(FRA) N64's RGB moddable? All my research says they are. Or is there something I'm missing?

I replaced the laser unit on a Mega CD 1 with a brand new laser unit I imported from the states.

You've found brand new lasers that aren't Chinese "high quality ultra good"? Do tell.

    Lately:
Fixed controller port 1 on a CDX (Broken traces on PCB, just added wires as I'm sure it'll get worse and need to be easily fixed again)
Sega Saturn BIOS trace lift (still have two-three more of these somewhere that need the same work done)

About it. Plenty of mods lately though.

Not much lately, fixed some bad solder joints on a MD2 yesterday as well as my mixer. Most of the MD2s I've had needed their power socket resoldering. Rather odd but an easy fix!

Certainly is pretty bloody common, as you say, at least it as an easy fix!

Australian N64's are also RGB moddable apparently, although they will not be easy to get or cheap either.
