That would be the case if at the end of the series, they're still tied in points.

If they both win their games they will both have 5 points and move on to the next round.
If they both tie however, they will both have only 3 points each, and USA would go on to the next round because they scored more goals.

 

So, K-Panggg, who do you think's gonna win on Tuesday?

I am noticing a lot of US coverage is refering to Britain or the UK. The team is England and does not include Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

I kinda want Japan to finally advance to a second round (Too much Captain Tsubasa as a kid, I guess), but I also sort of like Denmark, since they rocked in previous world cups (Mexico 1986, for example).

Yeah, we have some kind of tradition about making songs to the world cup, if we have a part of the tournament.

 

France is done for. I hear they're refusing to practice and the team director resigned.

 

Looks like all the African teams may be eliminated in the first round...

 

Actually I follow Italy as a team. I don't like Uruguay that much. But I guess both our teams will go on to the next round since France is leaving....

that Brazil red card was total garbage. if none of the refs saw what happened there needs to be some sort of instant replay. what a horrible call.

 

There's been a lot of really, really shitty calls the tournament. I wonder how much awful press they have to take until they finally decide to incorporate video replay as a valid part of the game. In fact...didn't Zidane's flawless victory 4 years ago only come to light after it was pointed out by a 2nd official? Not the main one? WTF is wrong w/ these people.
