The pitstop bug in F1 2010 is really annoying especially if you stumble upon it before seeing the many complaints about it online. I was in 4th place in a Renault and pitted using the default settings for pits and many other cars pitted at the same but i was left sitting there whilst everyone past me (on track) and of course in the pits before being let out of my area and i ended up last but did manage to finish 17th.
Fallout 3, don't get me started on how many bugs are in the Point Lookout DLC It is particularly bad when spending too much time near on the boardwalk, hotel area...screen goes black and you can only see with a certain angle. Then when you walk it shoots out these rainbow lines everywhere. Also debris stuck in the air really hampers the atmosphere for me.
well, not really a bug per se, but how about playing donkey kong country 3, beating a VERY annoying boss (think it was the octopus) and then a powersurge reset my snes! Also had the same thing happen on another DK game, this time the sub par kart game, and again after a very annoying boss!
My worst bug memory was probably into Darksiders, xbox360 version. I was close the end of the game, nearly to the top of the tower if you guys played it. After beating all the enemies of a room, and some were fucking resistant, the doors are unlocked to pass to the next area and the 360 save my progression automatically. Well, it was late, I powered off the console and gone to sleep. The day after, I wanted to continue my adventure: loaded my save, and re-spawned in the last room I completed. The problem is... the doors to continue are locked again, and all the enemies are now dead. lol. So no way to unlock the doors, or fight enemies, or go back to a previous room of the game since all is locked.... Definitely stuck between two shitty doors, with nothing to do. I just had one save slot for this game, so of course I would have to restart the game completely from the beginning to pass this room I was furious, deleted the game, the save, and resold the disc.
I wouldn't call it an annoying bug but in Sonic 1 on the master system, I once ran so fast, sonic vanished off of the screen and the camera zoomed right to the end of the stage where I found sonic. Also in Ghouls and Ghost, once on level one, I jumped over one of those coffins only to disappear in side of one!
Got a new one: Fallout 3 fully patched with DLC installed. Get to where I need to go get the GECK and Mayor McShit doesn't have the option to let me through the gate so I have to use the console to turn off clipping. Get the GECK and it tells me to escape the vault but as soon as I go through the first door the arrow pointing the way is telling me to go back through the door I just came through. Ignore this and continue through back to the cave, no clip through the gate, go outside...oh look the quest never officially finished so now I can't continue the game and use the GECK.... Tried several times to figure out what needed to be triggered but I can't find anything. Still haven't finished it and I gave up even thinking of playing New Vegas.
That's actually pretty easy to replicate. Just get the fast boots, run back up the hill with the lip and then roll back down it. Do it right and yeah, you'll end up right at the end of the level.
I love New Vegas. Yeah, there's some glitches but nothing game breaking. I only had to reset my Xbox once. Whenever I tried to pick a lock, a blank computer screen would appear on top of the lock so I couldn't see what I was doing. It's mostly stuff like enemies getting stuck in the environment and such. lol
My copy of Yoshi’s Island for the SNES was cursed. The savegame data always became corrupted whenever I pulled out the cartridge from the console. It may have been an issue with the battery, but it was like that even when the game was brand new. When I unplugged the AC adapter and waited a day or two without removing the cartrdige from the console, the savedata didn’t vanish, though. Another annoying thing was the airplane in SimCity for the SNES. I often let my SNES turned on over night, because I wanted the 50 years gift, but when I woke up the next day, my entire city burned down due to airplane crashes. When I played the game actively though, airplanes never crashed at random. They only crashed when I destroyed those stupid schools and hospitals blocking residential space. :flamethrower:
Hmm well in goldeneye 007 near the end of that level where all the scientists are in the lab if you shoot a certain one he'll throw a grenade at you, i went to make him do that and i shit you not all the scientists layed flat on the tables and put one leg up and the game froze :S Me and a friend were playin halo and we put it on the easiest setting and there were more enemies than if it were put on the hardest! Dont get me started on Driver 1&2 for playstation what fucking pieces of shit they were.
N64 San Francisco Rush. I was on the last lap, don't remember the level but I kept using short cuts to the point that I was about to lap the cpu cars. I hit the one jump at a slight angle and went flying towards a building. Ended up falling underneath the level it some kind of gray style place. The best part was when you "reset" your car, it reset back underneath and there was no way I could finish the race either so I was just stuck there until I reset my N64. -Disjaukifa
I'm really getting tired of New Vegas and it's glitches with quests. I'm a completionist and it's really annoying when a quest is glitched. I just want to be able to do everything!
Man, that is a pain in the ass. And I bet you are playing it on 360 right? That makes it even worse, I could solve most of the bug issues with console commands or mods from FNV Nexus because I played it on PC. Already finished it, but didn't enjoyed it as much as I thought I would.
Probably not my worst bug moment but a more recent bug moment. I've been playing Red Alert 3 with a friend over Christmas, or trying to anyway. Half of the times when we are in a Co-Op mission and he will disconnect. He will blame me, even though i have the better internet connection, better modem, better router and know what I'm doing. For whatever the reason is he has always had trouble with EA Games in one form or another, mostly in connecting to EA servers whereas I have not. Anyhow on to the more annoying part. On the mission before last as Soviets... We were close to beating the CPU then he dropped. We start all over again. We get to within inches of victory. He drops again... Grrr!
Perhaps this was intentional. Leave the game idol and it will do this to stop you from getting the gift the easy way.
Only once has this ever been so bad that it has stopped me from completing a game and it still haunts me to this day ... anyways, on the first Half Life for the PC there was a section [iirc] not long after you left a warehouse that had you to jump from some bins/shipping container onto a ladder .... no matter how many times I tried it just wasn't happening - I even got a mate who had completed it to come round and try - still nothing! :banghead: Infact it was this very jump at the start of the video ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi9nVJzB-go&feature=related EDIT: Just checking some of the video comments suggest to jump then duck ... I surely must have tried that all those years ago? OH:
Hello everyone, The worst bug that I ever encountered was when I was playing Dragon Age Origins. I was playing the game and I was about halfway through it. I had downloaded the Warden's Keep for it and in this downloadable content you get a chest that can hold a unlimited amount of items. When I was returning from a dungeon to deposit some extra items into the chest, I open the chest up and there is nothing inside, all my items and money were gone. I tried to reload on a different save but all the items were still gone. I was angry when that happened. That's the bug I encountered. Bye. :cur_sonic: :luigi:
I had a funny one yesterday on Fable 2. 'vaulting' down a cliff the character animation for the fall got stuck, so he was moving around looking like Jesus C. on the cross, hovering about a foot off the floor. It stuck for swimming too. It was quite amusing, sadly it went back to normal when I played again today.
Not exactly game-breaking, but it was annoying when I couldn't access the Cuban outfit in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, supposedly due to the order in which I completed the missons.
