It is called Game Dude, Ha. Pretty sure I mentioned it before on here, because someone wanted me to take pictures of the inside but I never did.

Check it out sometime Graciano, even if some prices are laughable, it is cool to just look around in awe of all the games/accessories/handhelds/systems/posters/memorabilia/what have you. I just loved all the SNES posters they had on the walls in one section. + They got some arcade cabinets inside of some pretty good games. + is the same place i got a crystal blue N64 for $5 that was labelled as broken... and it worked. I still don't understand... maybe they got "broken" consoles so often that nobody tested em'? Oh well. I don't even know why I bought it to be honest, glad I did!

Actually... maybe I take it back a little on the prices. They look better now, but some are still too high.

It sold locally where it was already. Tried to get him to split it up but he didn't want to.

There is no proof of any pressed disks of Halflife, despite what people say.

What one guy? He had a case, and manual, directly from the developer. No disk, ever.

I have heard many eye-witness claims of this, but as said, no proof ever. So my question is, why is this? Did they just have a ton of mockup jewel cases that tricked you? Or did you actually hold a sealed game in your hands? I am assuming it is the former.

I see. I never realised it was just the case and manual, I can't say I paid much attention to it. Cancelling HalfLife was a missed opportunity in its self.

Have you tried contacting the buyer (maybe through the seller) and making him an offer?

A Spider-Man: The Arcade Game original stand up in mint condition. An arcade where I lived was selling it for $1000. I could kick myself.

Recently, I picked up Ninja Gaiden 3 for the NES in mint condition on an eBay auction ($20?! How I managed that, I'll never know), forgot to ask for insurance, and the damn thing got stolen off my doorstep!

Man... you can bet it.. :p Never forgot: seller has not other live items, so i spent 2 days searching the seller based on algorithms (i work as a S.E.O. so i have a lot of tools for searching), i found her (was a lady), and contact her trough a social network as long item didn´t seems to be dispatched already (no feedback at all) . I offered seller a big digit.. nothing.

Some days later i found the buyer on a forum posting of course, THE DEAL OF HIS WHOLE LIFE with pictures, etc... i tried to contact him. No answer. Well, i am happy anyway that item finish with a real collector. I feel sick for sure if i know some lady bought "this tiny cheap plastic toy for my 2 years old nephew!!" LOL

At least if a collector have it we know some day item can be sold, and will be in nice shape. :)

A toystore in my city had like five copies of the pal Panzer Dragoon Saga, completely new back in 2001-2002. I believe they were selling them for about 10-15 euros each. It was mid summer, and even thought I had the cash, for some unexplained reason I decided to leave them and buy in early autumn.
Bad choice. Someone had already bought them when I went in that early September. :(

When i first started collecting many years ago, I was at a flea market and some old guy had a bunch of CIB Master System, genesis sega cd, etc for 50 cents each, and I was low on cash, I had two games in my hand, A CIB Copy of the rare US version of Sonic the Hedgehog for the Master System, and some random crappy sega cd game, and I bought the sega cd game. The odd thing was I knew that the Sonic game for the Master system was very rare, yet I still didn't buy it, I guess I wasn't thinking right that day.

Some years ago I missed a hell of a garage sale fine. Someone sold a box containing TurboDuo with some 30 games that had $50 tag. I was like 30 seconds too late to grab it when I saw it.

I don't remember the games in there but the console alone would have been worth $50 anytime

Saw this topic again at the wrong time, I almost bought the Lunar TSS Japanese demo disc, to my knowledge there is only one of them known to still exist, Lunar-net.com has a short write up of their post auction attempt io pry it loose. http://www.lunar-net.com/merchandise/democds.php
Edit: oops, it was Eternal Blue not The Silver Star

About seven years ago, I went to a store in Ventura, CA to find some old videogame stuff. I ended up buying some Atari 800 games, but the real treasure I missed were the NES Advantage joysticks. The store was selling them brand-new in the box for 10 bucks each. I picked up a used one for two dollars, so I got away with something, but I don't know why I didn't pick up one of the brand-new ones.
