I HATE this, no real excuse to do this, because as stated you can just copy and paste a reply - or even remove the email address from website once sold out like Duenan did.

No reply here either. Tried Mail and ICQ.

 

He'll probably get back to you guys eventually. Don't think he checks his email too often. Maybe he is overwhelmed by the response he's gotten, but I would think he should have expected it.
I had an issue with my 3do adapter after I had installed it (it needed a firmware update). It took him about 4 days or so to write me back but he did.
Like I said earlier, hopefully he starts to keep his page updated with info and firmware updates. It seems like he doesn't like to put too much info out in public.

It looks like he took down his how to buy page as it's a 404 error now. Maybe he doesn't want people to contact him right now.

 

I'm guessing the 8 sold pretty quickly. I'm honestly surprised I was able to get an order in. Right now my package is in US customs. Hoping it smooth sailing from here. Also does anyone know which version of the dreamcast this works on. I know gdemu only works on VA1

If it also works on v2, it cant have a plug on the bottom as there is no port on that board so I'm not sure how its installed. I was thinking it looked like it plugged in just like the GDEMU.

 

Hello, when I was sorting out payment with MNEMO over ICQ I did ask "can this be installed into any dreamcast?" his reply was "of course". Maybe he is unaware VA2 doesn't have a port, or maybe he thought I was referring to region. I suppose I should have been more specific with my question. Either way I am kind of iffy about installing this into my va0. *shrug*

 

Haven't a clue where mine is, was sent from kazakhstan :-( wish he used DHL.

 

He sent my package via priority mail international. I payed western union, he picked the money up and sent the package the same day.

 

I paid via Paypal, as that covers my backside, not sure who he sent it with I can track it via 17track.net, but it just said in transit :-( well I have 5 or 6 days left to wait, to see if it turns up.

i just hop he's put my address in correctly :-/ had to help him with that.

 

I was a part of a group buy for the 3DO adapter. I think you guys will be fine. He's obviously an intelligent individual who can make a lot of money developing these projects, so I don't think it serves his purpose to screw anyone over even if he wanted to.

 

I just got an one-word reply for the availability of more boards: "soon"

Yes, but his items are too expensive, take him too long to build, and too difficult to install for the masses.

 

If it's too expensive, you get a job. If that takes him too much time to build, drop your job and do it yourself. If you're from the masses and therefore can't do it yourself, learn or get back to your job and save money.

No, really, what's up with that "it's too much expensive"? We are waiting since years for that to happen. Nobody before Deunan succeeded at that. Now, you even have more people succeeding and have choice and you still bitch at something expensive that takes time to devise, to build at hand, with cost of parts and all, and best of all, that you can't even make or install, and you bitch at the price?

I cannot wait to get one of these... I ordered the SD version GDEMU - but i much prefer this USB one....
