There should be no need to do this with the GDEMU. It has been out for quite a while and has a lot higher install base. If there were issues, we would have heard reports of them by now. I have not had a single image not boot that I have tried.

It will not recognize the files unless they are in that format.

 

So there is a newer one lol I never got an email with it so :-(

the one I got fixed a few games issues, 102 Dalmatians was one of them.

we should put the files up here for download, he asked me not to share the file, but if there is a new one & half these games are fixed I will be pissed, been testing for 5+ hours :-/

 

Still curious to test Eldorado Gate. Although it shouldn't have issues, if these ones work, everything work. ;-)

It seems to be ok. It booted and I hit the A button till it got to a battle to make sure. My Dreamcast is a US version with the Region Free bios in case that matters.

that's the problem when there is no central place to gather information, MNEMO should have a download page with files and all , just like every other dev out there , too much secrecy without a reason...

Once you get that list posted I'm gonna try the games that didn't work and report back

 

ah your firmware is for the OS side, mine was for the USB host side (part that detects the USB drive & such) but more than likely you have that as well, as it was fixed the day after I reported the issues with some games.

I'm going to email him asking for any new firmwares or if he planes on have a page for them.

 

why does the USB controller have to have issues... why cant it be the damn SD version lol... ohh well... I still want the USB version as long as all the issues are software fixable and not hardware related... and im probably going to pick up another dreamcast... found them for under $30 locally and slap a DCemu in one later...

25 out of 265 games is not bad, thats all the NTSC games & PAL exclusives.

Oh, also all the games are GDI/Raw dumps by Trurip, I never optimized them, but on my other HDD there optimized & they still crash.

allright I can verify the crashes and I also I found this in 15khz mode:

a. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - Rogue Spear : it keeps resetting forever , I get the swirl -> SEGA TM logo -> reboot -> swirl -> logo ->etc , tried both TOSEC and TRURIP images
b. Shadow Man - same as Rogue Spear

In 31khz (vga) Rogue Spear runs and crashes as described.
Shadowman also runs , it has some frame shutters but I don't know if it's normal or not - I lack experience in this game.

Thank you, but that's way more complex with them, especially the volume 7 : various protections are in place and put in a sadist way (some switches won't work at some point, enemys IA, etc.). I just need to take the time to finally play them from beginning to end to check.

Thanks for this info-- I was given vague information that "second batch" will be better and he was sorting out issues with Paypal. At least he's interested in mass producing these. Puts me a little at ease.

 

Yup, there are a few more that don't like RGB scarts. (15khz mode)
