Since you seem to be acting as the "communicator/organizor" for this little thing, would you be so kindly to toss together a PM or something with the payment details with total sum incl./PP fees (x2 'cause of middleman?) + PayPal address we'll pay to and whatever and send it to all the people who raised their hands ?
A PM has been sent to Dream TR, to work out which account we would be making donations to. If anyone else wants to get up on this, now is the time to commit.
Well I'd personally hang fire, try and get a few more. Now that a deal has/is confirmed doable by all parties (pretty much) hopefully a few more people will be up for it.
Ok guys, the 22 of us who have commited should have gotten a PM from me with the paypal address to donate. The fundraiser is on! As some people may need to wait until payday or for other reasons, I say we give it a week or so for everyone to get thier donations together. At the current amount of commits we have (22) the total divides to $35.43 each - this includes the $750 and $22.55 in paypal fees so Dream TR doesn't get burned. Some people may not be able to give this much, so it's upon you to donate as much as you're comfortable with. I myself have already donated $50. I don't want to post the email address on the forum (even if this section is by invite only,) so if anyone else wants to get a piece of this just PM me and I'll send it to you. Let's make this happen people! :dance:
Just a minor concern, if people are not donating a set amount, i.e. person A gives $40 bucks, person B gives $50, person C gives $37.25, etc. how will we handle refunds in the event that the total donations exceed the agreed upon amount? Not that it *will* happen, but if it does? Again this is minor really, I just thought of it and wanted things to go as smoothly as possible for all involved so thought I'd bring it up now so we have time to sort things out before a potential problem arises.
If that happens (which would rule,) we'll stop the drive, and after the transaction divide up the remainder, if it's a significant amount. If it's only over by a few bucks I'm cool myself with letting it go (like say if we go over by $20 or so, it wouldn't be worth the time or paypal fees to refund every person $2.) Dream TR, we rely on you to tell us when the goal is met. Post here after you donate so we can keep a running tally. We're already at $126, let's keep the ball rollin'!
Nice nice, we are at $238 - with 6 people having donated, a very good start (actually ahead of the curve.) I've gotten a few PMs from people who will need to wait a few days before donating until they get paid, so we should see some more this weekend. Any more people feel like signing up? PM me!
