So far it's looking like it's going to be a batshit insane combofest. I never cared about Charlie before but THIS? Looking SICK. I am curious as to where this is in the SF Timeline IV was after II but Before III. V looked like it was after III.......until BISON at the end of this trailer. No other thoughts right now.
Sure as hell hope not, I want ONE damn fighter franchise to not be a "batshit insane combofest". Meh...probably gonna wait for the inevitable Super version, because Capcom needs money big time they can't possibly release the new characters as DLC guyz, it has to be a brand new full-price game!!
If people wait for the upgrade there won't be an upgrade. If you are worried it'll be all combos though maybe this video will qwell your fears....and add a new one about fireball spamming.
Mostly I'm just annoyed at the amount of money I spent on the different versions of SFIV. That video does look like regular good SF stuff, and if Alex and Sean are brought back, I'll probably be on board.
There were what 4 versions of USFIV? Well I guess 5 with the PS4 USFIV coming out. WHICH SIGH I WILL GET if that's the tournament standard version. I'm at peace with the lets "release many version of SF" Mentallity I used to be annoyed by it. But there's so few games now to get excited about SF is one of the few things along side Mortal Kombat that actually gets me excited. I'm with you WE NEED Alex back.
I still prefer Tekken as my main fighter franchise, but I will try this out when I get an 8th gen console.
Well Street Fighter V is PS4 and PC Exclusive so........... and I play Tekken too there's room for every fighter.
It's strange that there's been no word on an arcade release. Pretty much every major Street Fighter game up to this point went to (Japanese) arcades first. One of the best things about a new Street Fighter game being announced is the flow of good 2D-friendly joysticks and fightpads that show up around launch. Best scenario would be if wireless Model 2 Saturn controllers surfaced for PS4. I'm gonna mostly wait the whole thing out this gen until some point between Super Street Fighter V Arcade turning into Ultra Street Fighter V Ω Turbo X Puzzle Bobble Limited.
Because SFIII was the third most popular SF series? I mean, other than the first game, SFIII is the black sheep of the family. I might get the PC version, unless the rerelease comes out on the XB1.
3Rd Strike might be the most beloved. and SFV will NEVER be on XBOX in any form. So there's that too.
Sure. And Mega Man Legends 3 is going to be a great game made with contributions by the fans, Resident Evil 4 is a Gamecube exclusive, and Capcom creates new content for DLC all of the time, never shipping a disc with locked away content. At this point believing anything Capcom says is almost as bad as believing Sega is going to make a new console with Shenmue III as a launch title.
In this case I think Street Fighter V won't go to the Xbox since Sony is paying for some of the development costs if I'm not mistaken.
Anything can happen then. But I think it will take some time for them to release Street Fighter V on the Xbone if they ever released it for this system.
Ouch. That shit still cuts deep yo. But seriously, you do have a good point: Capcom's word is almost never to be trusted when you consider just how huge of capitalist whores they are. How could they possibly resist eventually putting out their new money vacuum for overly-competitive fukken nerds fighting game on the other currently popular game console? Hell, if someone sacrifices enough virgins we could even see a WiiU release. (Oh, and IIRC, Viewtiful Joe was also a "Gamecube exclusive" as well.) As for my thoughts on this: even with the "demo" fight posted by GodofHardcore, I still can't say I feel strongly one way or the other about how it's shaping up; I'll want to see it when it's further along. The only thing I definitely don't like is that the character and art designs look too similar to their SF4 for my liking so far. Charlie also kinda seems like cheap nostalgia bait, but at least it looks as if his gameplay's being shaken up; whereas Guile will still probably have only two regular special moves. ...It had come to be that Guile stared at his reanimated former comrade from the sidelines, seething with bitter resentment and jealousy. And why shouldn't he, he thought? After all, he's not had more than two specials in his time as a staple in the series, even in 2015; yet the character who should have no logical reason to be around has been resurrected, and with an expanded arsenal to boot! "Maybe in the update", he muttered under his breath with palpable envy, desperately clinging in vain to the lie he tried to fool himself with over and over again for fourteen long, torturous years. ...Yeah, you better run before ASSEMblergames members start hurling stones.
Yeah, RE4, Viewtiful Joe, Killer 7, and P.N.03 were all supposed to be Gamecube exclusives. They were all eventually ported to other platforms except for P.N.03, which isn't a very good game anyway. Also, 5,000 posts! Weeeeeeeeeee...
Can't be back here more than a week without you trying to be a buzz kill and start an Argument. so How's the PS4 version of Dead Rising 3?
