Sadly that doesn't work. Well, you can re-encode the file on the fly to the 360 but you'll need a very powerful PC to do that if you want to keep the HD quality. I found it much eaiser just to convert them to HD AVI files. THe file size is almost the same as well plus there's the added bonus of being able to watch them on my phone as well
I use tversity in fact I did reccomend it to Yakumo, but tversity doesn't support streaming of that format naively.
Great to hear. I'm going to watch it tonight when the boy goes to bed. HD Top Gear and a lovely beer. Yakumo
I have never laughed that hard in my life watching a tv show. I litteraly laughed the whole way through the first half. Hands down most entertaing top gear so far.
Watched it earlier tonight on PVR and i must say it was excellent, classic top gear at its best. Now i've got like every series to download so i can watched series 1 which i barely watched and re-watch the other series' which i did watch.
Been watching Series 3 today in bed (I started back at Season 2 and am running through in the days between the new eps). Never before has a show made me laugh so much and even almost get a bit emotional (space shuttle episode? I was literally speechless when their rocket took off! And some of the cinematography, like when they go to the isle of wight... gahh!)
Cheap car challenges, crazy challenges, africa, north pole, "winter olympics"... there's so much fun in TopGear! ray: It never gets boring! I already lost count of how many times i watched it... over and over again.
In my room, it's always on replay! I'd be ashamed to know how well I'd go to sleep without it in the background.
Watched last nights episode well last night when it was on and to be honest it wasn't the best. Was funny what happened to James May in the first piece they did but then all of it was fairly average to me.
Really? I thought it was the best episode so far (this series), Then again i am a HUGE Lancia fan. That Stratos kitcar was a steal at £13,000, it might handle like a pregnant hippo but what better way to crash into a ditch than that beast :icon_bigg . I was almost drooling when Hammond was driving the Delta, forget your Cosworths and your Abarths that car really is the daddy.
The lancia stuff was ok and sure i'd love to own that stratos kit car or a delta Integrale but to me it was good but not as great as the others so far.
I quite liked this weeks show. Sure, it wasn't as fast pased as normal but still had some good stuff in it. Taking in to acount the budget cuts it was still a decent show. Just watching the Stig drive that Lancia near the end is reason enough to watch the show
You're torturing me with all this Lancia-talk! Sometimes I think their budget cuts are useless information, even if they're legitimate, they'll find a way to make the show awesome as usual.
I did love the lancia segment. It was a real good retrospective, especially shedding light on why they don't exist anymore and the history of sega rally 2's cover car. I can understand why some felt this episode felt weak. When you compare it to last weeks that was fully entertaining and a riot, its odd the next episode be more of a average slower paced episode. The carvan segment while it did have it's moments, felt rather weak and a bit pointless. I did notice the first two episodes had two cars at once doing a lap time, perhaps to save on time and budget? Next week as some predicted airport vehicle racing.
Lancia being selected was actually good. I though Clarkson would choose Ford, Hammond would choose Porsche and May, Fiat or Peugeot. Still, the same ponts Clarkson did can be used to choose Citröen. I liked the episode, but wasn't one of those that will be remembered for a long time. That's why i think people consider it weak. For example, they could have used more time for the Lancia stuff, each one of the guys selecting his favourite one. By the way, i disagree with Hammond. I still think the Lancia Delta Integrale is one of the coolest cars i've ever seen. And it's beautiful yes. And i only seem it twice, since we never had Lancia cars officially imported around here.
Now that would have been a great idea for one of their challenges, all 3 of them buying a lancia and then having to drive somewhere so they could do a rally type race.
Just finished the ep a couple hours ago. Loved it. The hot lap was brilliant! Certainly my favorite lap yet, as it's not always that exciting to see 'some fast car' on the track. Like, what happened when the Enzo or the GT3 or something else went around? Probably nothing interesting. This. The whole segment I was thinking to myself "Delta Integrale...Delta Integrale...Delta Integrale...Delta Integrale...Delta Integrale...Delta Integrale... COME ON I KNOW THEY CAN'T SKIP IT!!!"
I was actually surprised they didn't showed the Lancia Delta S4, (both the Rally and the "road" Stradale version. Still, i hope they talk about Lancia on future episodes.
