NICE!!! I've just been watching series 13 this week as well. I noticed that in the "Coming this series" section at the very beginning of show 1 in series 13 they showed a clip of a airline luggage loader toppling over yet nothing was shown in the series. Hope that will come in series 14. can't wait!! yakumo

Can't wait for the new series and hopefully they have some classic cheap car challenges or any of the challenges where they have to modify cars like when they made police cars because i remember laughing so hard when i first watched that episode and by the end i was in tears of laughter. Its nice that its in HD although the only way i'll be able to see it in any sort of HD quality will be with the rips since i don't have a HDTV but get BBCHD
So what do you guys think of the new series? I enjoyed it (in all it's lovely HD quality) but I have a feeling that they are keeping the better stuff for the later shows. The official promotion add shown on BBC 2 featured some classic looking Top Gear messing about. While this first show in series 14 wasn't that funny (although it did have it's moments) it was still an enjoyable watch. The drive around Rumania was entertaining as was watching James May being flung everywhere in the back of that BMW. Just a shame that Fifth Gear Web TV reviewed it a week before. Still, they never had the high end model Yakumo
FCK!!!!! I forgot! Man, my Sunday night would have been SO much better if I had known there was a Top Gear ep to watch. I'll need more storage before I start collecting HD rips, though.
I have both the HD and SD versions if you want them uploaded somewhere. I think the SD version is about 700MB Yakumo
Final Gear serves me well, and I found some raw video I could delete. Hooray, space! (I've got about 50-60gigs of FRAPS captures I haven't compressed yet, and don't want to chuck... :/...)
I quite liked Sundays Top Gear, i forgot that it was on but luckily it was series linked so i watched it a few hours later. Apart from the news though i didn't find the bits in between (the main race, drive or whatever you call it) to be that interesting except maybe when james may really bashed his head in either the Merc or BMW but to be honest if the challenges and other races are as good as the first one then i'll be really happy even if we have some boring bits throughout the series.
That car is being sold here in Brazil for quite some time, just like the Logan. But here they are sold under Renault brand. Because of that we don't get the latest Twingo or Clio... OH: Everytime May talked about it on the news section, in the previous seasons, i always wondered if he ever tested it. Was actually surprised to see the first episode of season 14 was set in Romênia. Not my kind of car, but at least they are "honest".
The comeback of that car as a topic made me so happy, even if they probably staged it up to be that hilarious. HEY LOOK AT THAT
Good episode. Can't wait for building an electric car next week. I'm thinking of downloading the hd version, but its a pain in the ass to convert mkv files to a format the xbox can read. Funny thing is you can purchase episodes on xbox live but the quality is worse then the rips for download! I did like mays segment where he compares the bmw and mercedes at the same time. But top gears season premeirs always feel the weakest and least funniest, so I'm guessing its done intentional.
Not any more it isn't!! I use a really good program that can convert Top Gear from HD MKV to HD AVI for 360 with or without subtitles in 30 minutes. The software is called GOTSent_024b7 I used to to convert my HD stuff to 360 compatable AVI files with NO loss in quality. Yakumo
