What is the version of the stable firmware where the D2 swap was fixed?

2016/12/04 is the last one I flashed, which fixed the D2 swap. There was a 8th of Dec version a few days after the release that supposedly had further fixes, yet I cannot remember if there was a list of changes or not, yet I had no issues and still don't, so decided to stay were I am.

However, I would like to have the 8th dec version handy, if I ever need to use it, if problems did arise. @RXShorty do you have this version still?

You're original post/link has been removed in this thread since the servers came back online.

I’m not, as I have no issues with my device, I’m still on the current firmware.

New update is out: firmware update v 2017/09/05 no readme file, yet opening the "bin" file with either a Hex editor or Notepad.

    Changes: MCU code.

Teddy Rogers Be interesting to see if this fixed the DOA 2 final issue for you?

Apologies for the delayed reply. Tried it now. Latest firmware made absolutely no improvements, still have all the same problems...

Sometimes I think I should have gotten a gdemu instead.

Unfortunately firmware updates are a one way street, there is no going back to previous firmware revisions once done...

Comical. Another reason I haven't updated my firmware in like two years!

12/08/16 is safe to use? I think I'm using an older one than that (really happy I didn't upgrade with all these issues) I think there was some speed improvements teased, so I think I'll put 12/08/16 on there-- unless anyone can think of why I shouldn't stay on old firmware.

Cloudius, thanks for saving that firmware.

D2 swap was broken in the earlier firmware of 2016. 8th Dec update that year apprently fixed errors in the 4th Dec update, yet I never saw what was actually changed. The issues others have reported are with the May update this year and still with the recent September release.

I'm happy to continue testing out further firmware on my spare card, just let me know if a new firmware gets released and any particular games to test with...

It's been like a year since I visited this forum for the last time. I'm thinking about taking my DC with GDEmu out of the closet. I have no idea what version of firmware I have but as far as I can see I should not update, right?
